The secondary will be fine if we have a decent pass rush, it still remains to be seen how DE's converted to linebacker goes.

I'm excited to see Prentiss play corner. He has shown flashes of being a top shelf corner in this league. But IMO he's an average to good safety. Added depth should allow him to remain at CB this year. He might be looking at a big year.

I agree! PWagg is gonna ball out this year!

Just hard for me to get my hopes up for this guy.... Anything is possible, and people can claim all they want that "he was just a kid that learned from his mistakes" or whatever, but even at 17, hell even at 5, most people with half a brain would know not to do what he did...

"Most people with half a brain wouldn't do what he did. . . ."

The fallacy starts with "most people" I'm sorry to say. The moral fiber of the country isn't what it once was. Broken homes, lack of courtesy, disrespect for elders, disrespect for other people's property, and it goes on and on.

Then you look at the conduct of what used be de facto adult role models such as teachers, cops, sports figures, coaches, actors/actresses, so-called parents, not to mention that species of liars known as politicians--what the heck is there for kids to learn but wrong these days? We even have movies and cartoons that glamorize bad behavior.

Does this excuse the conduct of recruits who exhibit such stupidity? HECK NO! They still know right from wrong and have the power of choice and by gosh Nancy Reagan was right--just say NO. But the effect of what a society has become shouldn't be ignored or dismissed. Kids are videotape recorders. They repeat what they hear and see. Done often enough it becomes a habit or an everybody is doing it excuse. Otherwise known as stupidity which lacks an antidote at present.
