“LeBron has won the last two [MVP awards],” said Bosh. “He is my teammate, but Derrick has had a phenomenal season. Just looking at what he has done with the team and their record, how improved they are as a team and how much improved he is as a player. I think it’s close, but I think I would give it to Derrick if I were a voter.

“He’s playing well, like he’s the best point guard in the league and the best player in the league,” Bosh continued of Rose. “He’s the most valuable player if you really think about it. If you take him out of the lineup, there is no telling what you get.”

Bosh should probably worry about himself and his team. Bulls would still be a good team without Rose. If the Heat had Noah instead of Bosh they'd be a lot better off.

Anyone wanna change their mind?

LeBron has showed he is the far superior player throughout this series on both ends of the floor, the best player in the NBA in no longer a debate.

So rose is slightly better in the playoffs than he was in the regular season. The question is whether or not lebron is now better.

LeBron was the best player in the league this season. Rose is good, but I'm sick of hearing his praise... I'll take LeBron anyday

Actually, Rose has been worse in the playoffs. In the regular season he shot a slightly above league average and in the playoffs he's well below league average.

Lebron =

Playoffs = 25.9 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 5.4 apg, and 2.7 topg (shooting a TS% of .567)

Regular = 26.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 7.0 apg, and 3.6 topg (shooting a TS% of .594)

So Lebron is approximately the same player. Lebron's extra 1.2 rpg, and .9 fewer turnovers make up for the differences in ppg, apg, and TS%.

Rose is a slightly better version of A.I. He will never win a title unless he gets help and learns to play a team game. Dont see either of those things happening.

I think he'd prefer a team game, unlike AI. He just doesn't have any options around him. That offensive lineup is horrendous.

I was thinking a slightly better version of Russell Westbrook.

Boozer and Deng both scored 20 on a combined 30 shots. Rose scored 23 on 27 shots (and had 7 TO's). His teammates aren't the only ones making that offense ugly. Taj Gibson is playing extremely well offensively, but he's only taking 4.9 FGA per game. Go figure.

Gibson, Bogans, Deng, Brewer, and Korver are all out-shooting Rose in the playoffs and they've taken a combined 376 shots. Rose has taken 347 shots.

Rose is barely outshooting Boozer (by .006) and has committed twice as many turnovers. Funny that Booze is catching all the criticism. If the Bulls didn't have the best D in the league they wouldn't have got out of the first round. If they had an average D, they would have been lucky to win 50 games and Rose gets no MVP.

LeBron = best player in the league
Dwight Howard = most valuable to his team
Derrick Rose = best PG in the league in a year or two
Chris Paul = best PG (when healthy) right now
