I think we have a real good shot at defeating the Steelers. Their offense has played average at best.
I don't know. Essentially have a month to get ready.. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. The experience for these young guys might prove valuable come playoff time.
the Steeler offense has not been great all season. pass protection has been lack luster, out top two tail backs, one is out for the season, the other, Parker, has been in and out all season. Mewelde Moore (who?) has taken most of the snaps. We signed Naje Davenport, twice, this year. we lost our long snapper, have signed 3 punters, and lost our back up quarterback for the year. whew..........
it has not been pretty. it may be the ugliest 11-3 ever. but all this team does is find ways to win.
they'll have find yet another way Sunday. two very physical games in a row for the Steelers. the only good news for us is there's little pressure. 2 seed and division locked up. in the end, we're ina good place, win or lose.
you haven't been watching the Steelers then have you. our defense has carried us all year. offense has made a play or two a game to keep us in or win a game. that's it.
our running game is nill. ben has been sacked about 123 times. if our d doesn't score against Dallas we lose.
that said, our d is that good. should be a good game.
I don't mean to sound like posivol... but I believe the Titans have won their last game of the year.
Yeah but if you look at the games last year where Haynesworth was hurt - we gave up tons and tons of rushing yards... and that was WITH KVB... I'm horrified to see what it'll be like without either of them.
Our secondary has been high rish/high reward all year too... as it is... Favre, Gus Frerrote (spelling), Schaubb, etc, etc have all had good games against our secondary. We seems to give up a lot of yardage but force a lot of picks (mainly do to our D-line pressure which we won't have).
Since he made the Pro Bowl, Haynesworth will now be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
