2008 Titans

I just hope that we don't play them again in the playoff

Odds are at this point it will either be the jets, steelers, or winner of pats/dolphins wildcard.

Wait...are the NFL playoffs a set bracket or do they match the lowest seed against the highest seed each week?

The dolphins are breaking out the champagne and espn is ecstatic that it can now call a team with a big media market - the giants - the best team in the NFL

The Titans really need to get healthy. They should be able to sit some guys vs. the Lions and then a few extra days off before the Browns come to town. A healthy secondary will do a lot for this team, but they need to get a lot better. They need to find that intensity they played with earlier in the season, especially against the better teams.

I just hope we are ready for the Lions come Thanksgiving day and don't go in there pouting.

Jets are built perectly to beat us. Abilty to stop the run and an extremely effective short passing game which negates any pass rush.

Well harper normally plays close on routes which usually helps with that. But the way carr plays 10-15 yards off is easily exploited by the short pass

Good thing the Titans have Jim Schwartz. He will make the proper adjustments if they play again.

So apparently Chris Carr is now hurt and Harper is not cleared to play yet. King won't be for a long while if at all... KVB is once again questionable last I heard... who the heck is going to play corner? Maybe Renaldo Hill isn't still injured??

We could lose to Detroit if we're not efficient on offense this game. That would be horrible.

jesus, carr too? It's one thing when you're losing your starters, now we're just losing everyone at the position :cray:

Nick Harper is on track to play against the Lions. I'd just as soon hold him out if I were Fisher though. The Lions are like a scrimmage game for this team. Let the hurt guys heal up. Jason Jones expects to play as well.

I really like this quote from Collins. Shows the attitude of this team.
The Titans are handling the loss to the Jets the same way they handled their 10 wins, quarterback Kerry Collins said: “We haven’t blinked. We really haven’t. … We’re past it.”

I wish I could say the same for their fans...:birgits_giggle:

Hill was placed on IR with King, I believe. Guess Tyrone Poole will see some significant p.t. on Thursday.

We'll have a long week to heel up. Cleveland and Houston should pose no problems either. We've pretty much got 6 weeks to get prepared.

Houston is always a tough and its at Houston. Sage always seems to throw all over our secondary... more so than the starter whether it was Schaub or Carr.

Cleveland - who knows. They can really put up some points when they have good QB play. All depends on Anderson. I think its at home so that one isn't too bad.

Good start to the game so far. Still not liking the look of the secondary and its injuries though.

35-10 at half. Would be 35-3 without that fumble at the end of the half.

Johnson already over 100 yards with 2 Tds. Lendale getting his "touches" too with two Tds.

I didn't think the Titans could score that many points.... in 2 games even... and we kicked 3-4 FGs. Wow Detroit is plain bad.
