2007 Game by Game

Cal's losses to the draft will offset the change in scenery. Cal won't win 9 games next season.

Arkansas loses most of their OL, but Mustain improves, McFadden and Jones are back, but they should be a small bit worse than last season.

The only teams on the schedule that actually improve from 2006 are Georgia, Alabama, and Kentucky.

Arky loses their best LB and Keith Jackson JR (2nd best DL) also to grad. Plus their best DL Anderson and their best DB Houston are leaving early. They will be much softer on D.

you are the delusional one if you honestly think that Southern Miss is a threat against UT... or any other top 25 school. You talk about them like they are Arizona or something. Don't even try to argue for NIU or UCF.

GaTech, PSU, Michigan, Mich St, Purdue, UCLA, Boston College, USC, Navy, Air Force, Stanford.

Cal, Southern Miss, Florida, NIU, UCF, Ga, MSU, Bama, SCar, Ark, Vandy, Ky

I fail to see how UT's schedule is any harder than ND's. Stanford, Navy, Air Force... way harder than the trio of Southern Miss, NIU, UCF. please.

WHAT?

Check it out: Stanford, Navy, and Air Force produced 1 team with a winning record last season.

Check THIS out: S. Miss, NIU, and UCF produced 2 winning teams.

And then check this out: Air Force and Stanford haven't had winning seasons since? Right, 2003 and 2001, respectively.

AND THEN check this one out: S. Miss and NIU have had winning seasons for quite awhile, while UCF went 7-5 in 2005.

Keep trying to be an idiot.

Oh, and then check this bad boy out: Stanford, USAFA, and Navy in 2006: 14-24

Then, try this on for size: NIU, S. Miss, and UCF in 2006: 20-19

Do you truly feel Stanford, who had 1 win last season, is a threat to anyone? Get with the times. There are a lot of mid major schools that are BETTER than the crappy BCS conference schools. Central Michigan would put a hurtin' on Stanford.

You're the one on here trying to pass off a one win team as legit, genius. You're talking about Stanford like they're Temple. They're not even that good. Air Force hasn't been worth a damn in 10 years, and Navy will revert to being dreck as soon as Paul Johnson leaves. Now run along. I'm sure there's some sort of Jimmy Clausen countdown vigil you need to attend.

I actually think the ND 2007 schedule is pretty tough, but don't try to compare the bottom three you pointed out.

Maybe. I think we could do markedly better. A lot of time between now and August/Sept.
yeah, maybe half of FL's team will get kicked off the team, Bama could be placed on probation, Ray goof could be named as the GA coach.......and brad scott could come back to SC. you never know.......:)

It IS completely possible that Florida only returns 1-2 defensive starters next season, while also only returning 3-4 offensive starters, all of which would be OL.

i would put SC in that category as well. loisng rice not withstanding, i think they'll be better. could be 07's Arkansas. (no i don't think they'll win the East, but i do think they have a chance to win some of the close ones they lost this season)

Cory Boyd, for whatever reason, hasn't announced his intentions for next season. He ran real well on us (who didn't?), so if he returns, they could still win 7 games. If he doesn't, Mike Davis doesn't scare me.

yeah, but you and i both know that starters returning not withstanding, they are returning a TON of talent, most of which got plenty of p/t this season....

They return Tebow and Harvin, which are loads better than new starters. Besides those 2, Kestahn Moore has some experience. On defense, I doubt even I could name a back-up off the top of my head.

me neither, but defenisvely they won't suck. and it will be year 3 under spurrier. offensivey at this point, you have to expect more improvement. how much? don't know. they lost a lot of games really close. so it would stand to reason that if they could garner 3-5 more points a game, and the defense hold serve, that could translate in to 2-3 more wins for 'em.

me neither, and it's no doubt the biggest losses on on defense. but i'm going to go out on a limb and say that with the recruiting he's done, they'll have talent on that side of the ball. the unit in all may not be as good as this year's unit, but it might not have to be either.

This is very true. I'm just not sure how confident I'd be as a Cock that they'd average 3-5 more points next season without Rice. I actually think Carolina in 2008 will be a large force.

i think we could be a large force in 2008. don't get me wrong, i don't see SC winning 10 games or anything, but 8-9 wins would be another step for them. which i think they will be capable of.

SC's recruiting class is currently ranked 10th in Rivals. If that's not keeping Fulmer up at night UT is in serious trouble.

I really liked Casey and Rick, but am disenchanted with Jimmy, not because of anything he has said or done (though the hair gel is not my style), but it seems to me he's being pumped up by the ND faithful alot like they pumped up Ron Powlus, and we all know how well that worked out.

UT will win all games on the schedule next season. The only game we'll be dogs is at FL if they don't have major injuries during their scrimage schedule leading up to our game. Don't miss an opportunity like LG did - put a C on the Vols in vegas.

Bring on the bashing and attempts to discredit.

I'd rather you bring something to the table to convince me other wise.:eek:lol:
