I think the attack was balanced enough to keep Florida from crowding the line and keying in on Stephens, but you’re right, we don’t win without Stephens. And we can do ifs and buts all day, but if that game hadn’t been postponed, there’s a good chance we lose. Stallworth would have been out, I think Eric Parker was banged up, Kelley Washington wouldn’t have had nearly a season under his belt, etc. Earnest Graham got hurt the week before by some FSU thugs at the bottom of a pile. As much as I loved that game, and the fact that it was the last game Spurrier coached in the swamp, a lot of things had to go our way to get a 2 point win. Helluva game though. And even though I think the game being postponed helped us, I’d undo it and live with the results of it being played on time if we could undo 9/11.
