Back in 98 and living in Knoxville, I heard idiots complaining about us not beating teams by enough while winning it all. Same ones on here now complaining about two top 25 finishes. Of course, we are happy about losing to SC and Vandy and not winning the east. That is as stupid a comment as you can make. No one is happy with that but can still be happy that we finished ranked. Or , you can just be a piss ant about probably everything in life. Since I wrote this, I guess you will call me pathetic and I don't care about winning championships. WRONG. I expect more in the future but can still be happy to find out we were ranked. Better feeling at the end of the year than most the last decade. Doesn't mean I am settling but means I can enjoy this for what it is while exoecting more in the future. CBJ either wins some real titles soon or he will be gone. Doesn't mean you are an idiot to find some enjoyment in what this team did this season. The Florida and Georgia games and being in Neyland and breaking that streak while watching with my son will always bring a smile to my face. If that makes me pathetic then I will enjoy being pathetic. GBO
No one's unhappy about 2 Top 25 finishes. The OP was fine, until he got all high-and-mighty about his post-season prediction (or whatever that was), and then pretended like anyone who expected more (like most did) was crazy.
After the GA game, nobody thought this team would finish with 8 regular-season wins. Nobody. And if they say they did, they're lying.
*Strike that...the one's who had no faith in Butch called it.*
