(2) Thunder vs. (3) Lakers

FGA: 37-96 38.5%

3PA: 1-12 8.3%

How can Laker fans defend such a garbage performance?

Did you watch the game? Ha.. Surely you didn't watch what just happened and still hold this opinion. Pau had several open shots and didn't even look at the basket. When Kobe passed him the ball he got rid of it as quick as possible..straight to OKC. Pau wanted no part of having the ball.

Since when did Gasol start taking 15 footers like Kevin Garnett?

Pau is most effective on the block with the ball...which they didn't do.

I typically like your posts, but this is clueless. Pau didn't want the ball, period. He gave up post position to come set a ball screen for metta? Cmon man.

Like Metta was going to pass him the ball.

Watch the Lakers in the triangle offense the last three years with Pau. It was beautiful how they used. Now Brown has gone to his iso garbage he did with Cleveland, and low and behold, Pau isn't getting touches.

Metta had every intention of passing him the ball ha. He was more surprised by the ball screen than anyone.

Lakers v durantless thunder.

Thunder v kobeless lakers.

Gotcha.

...Is it more likely the Thunder would win a game? Yes. However, I'm pretty sure the Thunder would not win the series. It'd be 4-1. If Bynum/Gasol both showed up, the Lakers could steal a game.

As young as OKC is and this being vintage NBA playoff games with a lot of pressure, they are extremely calm and poised. They get down on the road in LA and just stay with their game and work their way back.

Kobe=12-28
Bynum/Gasol= 13-25

14-17 FT

So that is 7 two point field goals accounted for in Kobe's makes.

My point still stands that for the amount of shots Gasol/Bynum took they score 1.12 points per shot, while Kobe was at 1.35.

You are crazy if you do not go with Kobe.

20*1.35= 27 20=amount of shots
20*1.12=22.4

Does that proove my point?

I really think we are seeing the next dominant team in the league.

It's because they are on of two teams (along with San Antonio) that actually runs an offense in crunch time (KD's last shot withstanding).

By the way, to Metta World Peace: What in the world where you thinking giving that much space? That was dumb. Everyone knows he's going for the pull up 3 dagger.

And yet, the Lakers still score less points than the Thunder and lose the game.

So going to Kobe accomplished nothing.

No it doesn't. It shows that Kobe is a complete ball hog.

Yeah, Kobe got to the line. But when he didn't, he was completely ineffective. When the refs let them play in the 4th, you saw exactly what happened. Kobe struggled and took horrible, horrible shots while getting away from Pau/Bynum.

Again, you can take your 14 free throws and ruin the offense. I'll take 13-25.
