(2) Thunder vs. (3) Lakers

So, they play again tomorrow?

Wow, Thunder will have a crazy amount of time off if they sweep.

Actually, Spurs would finish on Sunday if they sweep too. Has anyone ever swept their way to the finals? Seriously doubt Spurs/Thunder sweep each other, just wondering.

Eight teams have swept their way into the finals. But, five of those teams did so prior to 1958 when the format was much reduced per games played.

The Lakers have done it three times since 1958 in 1982, 1989, and 2001. No team has done it since the first round was expanded to seven games from five.

I can think of a team that's done it. If the 72-10 Bulls couldn't pull it off not sure who could, that was an amazing team.

Will it be possible for OKC to keep both Harden and Ibaka?

Was thinking it's unlikely. If so, that sucks for them. You have keep Harden over Ibaka since he's virtually a superstar but Ibaka is the perfect PF next to legit centers. Dude is insane athletically.

Are both of their contracts up this year?

Forgot about the 2001 Lakers, amazing team as well.

Will be almost impossible to do with seven game formats.

Next year.

Wonder if you consider amnestying Perkins. Big centers are hard to come but Ibaka is a lot better than Perkins imo. You can find average big guys to put him next to.

And OKC takes the lead... how will this Lakers team respond?

Normally I'd say they'd respond just fine since they're winners but down 0-2 with Mike Brown as their coach, I wouldn't be surprised if they close up shop.

If they get swept back to back years in the 2nd round, I think you have to send Bynum packing. He's like a giant man child.

Sucks for the Lakers they didn't get CP3 or Rondo for Gasol. His contract is so bad that they'd have to take a big hit on their return at this point.

Perkins is overrated.

Ibaka is developing an offensive game to go along with his unreal defensive ability.

Ibaka could easily be a 12/10/4 guy.

Nice knee by Artest...

I would feel bad for Artest with everyone hating him if he hadn't brought it all on himself.
