#2 Knicks vs. #3 Pacers

I wish that could be attributed to the Pacers defense but I don't know. .

A lot of it is the Pacer's defense.......they are quite good at shutting down the lane and forcing the Knicks to go back to just a perimeter game. Knicks will live and die with the 12 foot jumper

The Knicks can get hot and shoot lights out is what worries me. I've seen games where Melo and Smith hit everything they throw up. And the Knicks have other guys that can shoot in Felton, Novak and Copeland. Heck, after game 3, I feel like Shumpert can hit anything. He was playing awesome. And Kidd has been missing wide open 3's but I believe he's top 10 all time in 3 pointers made? I don't think he will miss forever.

That's my biggest fear... Knicks start hitting everything they shoot. And I'm really surprised by how badly Hibbert is abusing Chandler. It wasn't like that before. Chandler has more hops and he did an excellent job grabbing boards against Hibbert in the past. Plus, Amare is back and he could start jack rabbiting up for some boards. We'll see... I hope the Pacers are just disciplined enough to continue what they're doing and it continues working. I think both teams can play better than they have at times.

Oh wow... Kidd is 3rd in 3's made.

The list actually surprises me.

NBA.com

4. Jason Terry
6. Chauncey Billups
8. Rashard Lewis
13. Jason Richardson
17. Jamaal Crawford

Here's something interesting...

#1 Ray Allen/#5 Paul Pierce - Won a championship together
#3 Jason Kidd/#4 Jason Terry - Won a championship together
#8 Rashard Lewis/#13 Jason Richardson - Played in a championship together

Maybe there's something to having a pair of guys that are elite 3 point shooters.

J.R. Smith, Kenyon Martin sit out Knicks

J.R. Smith, Kenyon Martin sit out Knicks’ Sunday practice with the flu

2013 NBA playoffs -- Iman Shumpert among 3 New York Knicks to miss practice - ESPN New York

The New York Knicks were missing a third player in practice Monday as Iman Shumpert sat out due to soreness in his left knee, the team said.

J.R. Smith and Kenyon Martin also missed the session due to lingering illnesses. Woodson said they will be game-time decisions.

Surely they'll play despite Woodson proclaiming them as game-time decisions. Not sure how it bodes for the Knicks with Martin/Smith missing back to back practices and no Iman Shumpert not practicing because of soreness in his knee.

Watch it not have an impact at all.

Hibbert has played very well in this round, but I do contribute much of that with him being able to be very physical and the games being called as such, for the most part.

Yup, noway that Smith, Shumpert, or Martin sit.........unless there is no way physically they can play

Watching for the first time this series.. Love shumpert but pulling for pacers. Paul George is my guy

I'm not gonna say the refs haven't favored the Pacers.

48-34 Indy at the half.

Please don't choke!

I think the Pacers are trying to choke lol

They're playing so sloppy and up 18, Lance Stephenson missed a wide open shot under the basket ha. Only an 11 point lead smh

I didn't see it that way. The Knicks only made up 3 points, yet Hibbert sat out almost the entire quarter. Just gotta keep it together for one more quarter.

I'm saying because they have easy opportunityies to blow it up and let the Knicks hang around.

I mean Stephenson literally missed a shut wide open under the basket lol.

Come on guys, close it out!

Feel a lot better about pulling this series out now that it's 3-1.

Anything can happen but 3 losses in a row would be a pretty big choke.

Feel pretty good about this series after tonight. That said, I REALLY hope the Pacers can find a way to close things out in Game 5 while they're riding all the momentum. I know it's rare that a team comes back from 3-1 down, but drop game 5, and then the Pacers face a virtual must-win at home in game 6. Even in that scenario I'd still feel pretty confident, as the Pacers defended their home court well throughout the season, and have yet to lose there in the playoffs.

Both series can close out tonight.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Warriors come back to knock off the Spurs in 7 but I hope the Pacers can close out since the Heat have only lost 1 game and the Pacers have lost 3. Don't need to keep playing extra games before running into Miami.

George Hill is out with a concussion. Sigh...

So this is how the collapse starts, huh?

Hope not lol
