#2 Knicks vs. #3 Pacers

My favorite sequence was when the Knicks hacked the Pacers, no call and then on the other end, the Pacers were called for a foul on a clean block.

The foul for a 3 without being touched at the end of the 2nd quarter going into the second half was a nice touch.

Refs were never going to let the Pacers come back and win. I said what Vogel said... I was thinking down 6? Seems like 30.

NBA got their wish I guess. Going to cover the spread. These refs should go to prison with Donaghy. sigh

I'll eat my words if the Pacers come back.
The first damn 4 games of the series have been like that but on the Pacer advantage......but "it was just tough basketball" then.....gtfo with that conspiracy ****

I haven't had a real problem with tonight's officiating aside from the **** that happened going into the half. Sooner or later they were going to put a crew out there that wasn't going to allow so much physical play inside, and that's fine, because what goes around should come around.

Have you been watching any of the series??? They have allowed Hibbert to hack away without calling **** for most of the series.....I wouldn't go to the hole either

Lol no, just this game. Makes sense. But he rarely attacks the rim. Someone his size and strength should do it alot more

And just like that I'm officially in full panic mode. It's amazing just how tenuous a 3-1 lead is when you don't have home court for the potential Game 7. Whoever wins on Saturday night will win this series.

Are all pacers fans as panicky as you and TOP? Goodness, relax

Can you really see the Pacers going into the Garden and winning a game 7 on the heels of two straight losses? So yeah, Game 6 is basically a must-win for the Pacers. Like I said before, thank god they've been so good at home this year.

You're optimistic about game 6, TOP basically just said refs just gave the whole series to the Knicks

You almost won a close out game on the road despite hibbert being in early foul trouble, Paul George being in late foul trouble, missing one of your best players, and playing piss poor. What did you think would happen? The pacers have outclassed the Knicks this whole series.

As to George Hill, nobody has any idea if he'll even return in this series. The officiating has been so up and down, you never know what to expect. However, if somehow the Knicks get this to Game 7, I have a hard time imagining the NBA will give them a fair shake. The styles of each team are so drastically different that its pretty much a given that depending on which way the game is being called, one team is going to receive a distinct advantage.

Brian windhurst said on espn George hill is out for the series. I don't fully believe that but if it's true, you may begin to worry.

If true that's a big blow for this series. Not sure DJ Augustin is a guy you want running the point with a trip to the ECF on the line.

Fantastic. I guess there's always next year. Sucks though, I was looking foward to the Pacers get another shot at Miami.

I still think you have a great chance tomorrow night, but the sky is falling routine has worked for y'all so far. I can't fault you for sticking with it

So after a couple hours of letting the devastating news of the loss of Hill for the final two games of this series, here's my real takeaway. While it is super frustrating to have the conference finals within your grasp, and now feel it slipping through your fingers at warp speed, the reality is that the Pacers have already exceeded their station in the League this year. In a conference that includes team in New York (x2), Boston, Chicago and Miami, and in a climate where after The Decision, all the best players will now flock to the biggest markets (even moreso than ever) a team from Indiana making it this far is really pretty damn good. If not for the injury to Derrick Rose, the Pacers would have almost certainly wound up 4th in the East and would probably already been dispatched by the Heat. In other words, considering everything that the Injury Bug has given the Pacers so far this year, you can't be too upset when it comes back around to take away.

On the other hand, there's always the chance Indiana somehow manages to pull a rabbit out of their hat and miraculously win Game 6. Here's hoping...
