Let me start by saying this is all second hand info and not coming from the Tennessee direction, but have talked to a couple of people this morning who are hearing that Mann had a great official visit to Florida this week and they feel that things are trending the Gators way.
We'll see if that holds or is actually the case but the feeling is that he's going to decide soon, possibly in the next week.
It's a positive that he didn't commit while on the visit and is apparently going to think things over before making a decision, so maybe the Vols can get in there and get some momentum back.
Anyway, just wanted to pass along the current scuttlebutt, and again, let me clearly identify that as 'rumor' for the moment but for those who are interested, that's the buzz I've picked up this morning.
Now you are just arguing to argue
It's clear it's 3 schools. You know as well as I do the staff has to tread lightly with Kansas slow playing him. Pushing hard for a visit soon would bring closure.
The one BTO quoted is very old. The one I posted was from the last 24 hours.
in talking with a lot of folks that cover recruiting nationally, many seem to think that Tennessee is in very good shape with Mann and that it's pretty much down to the Vols and Florida. Based on gossip I'm hearing, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a decision before the end of June but we'll see
Much like how I kept my stance when news of Burns OVing to South Carolina came out and people freaked out, Im sticking to my info and opinion with Mann. I think he announces for Tennessee within the next month or so and I think he does so without ever visiting Kansas.
