That's the only thing we Jones and Lawrence. So much can happen between now and February 2018. Even if one is committed to us. However, both have always wanted to commit early so I think with them knowing that for so long they will stick wherever they choose unless the wheels just fall off

Tennessee has long been a serious contender and was even thought as the outright favorite for some time.

The Vols are still under serious consideration so this weekend visit could be crucial as Jones winds through his recruitment.

“With Tennessee I have a great connection with all the coaches,” Jones said. “We just all connect up there. I talk to coach (Mike) DeBord and coach (Butch) Jones almost every day.

“It’s just how they make me feel. They make me feel at home all the time. They make me feel like I’m a part of their family.”
