Yup. 15+ guys from Michigan, that Hoke recruited, will be drafted this year. He might not be the best HC but he's a very good DL coach and recruiter. Butch nailed offseason hires with Hoke, Warren, Rock and Wells.

This really is a very good staff. If Scott turns out to be a great OC, look out. Still think we need to upgrade at LB coach, but this staff is coming together

Maybe the 10th guy on the staff could be a little more hands on technical coach. Maybe assist on DL,DBs and/or LBs. I can see Hoke working the DL but handing them off time to time to help with LBs...helps with synergy of the units.

D’Andre Litaker hasn’t revealed his favorite school yet, but the 4-star defensive tackle from Riverdale in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has a good idea who we wants to play with at the next level.

The 6-foot-2, 302-pound prospect is in a group chat with fellow 4-stars Greg Emerson, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound end from Jackson’s North Side High, and Brant Lawless, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive tackle from Nashville Christian. Although the three Tennessee mountain men aren’t a true package deal, the plan is for the in-state defensive line trio to play together … and that could be big (and great) news for the Vols.

“We reached out to everyone, we got ourself a group chat,” Litaker said Saturday after Tennessee’s first 2017 Junior Day.

“The main 2018 kids. Me, Brant and Greg are all in one. We just talk to see what junior days are coming up, see what we got planned. We’re trying to work something out.”

Along with Litaker, Emerson and Lawless are two important and priority targets for Tennessee. It’s still early, but the Vols are well positioned for all three prospects.

.....

While plans aren’t finalized, Litaker hopes to return to Tennessee on March 4 — the next Junior Day — alongside Emerson and Lawless.

“I might come back on March 4 because me, Greg and Brant would all be up here at the same time. That’s what we’re planning on doing, so we can all sit down with Coach Hoke and just talk about football,” he said.

Have a question for you guys? Have Hoke, Warren and Wells had a press conference about their hire yet? I've looked somewhat and haven't seen anything but possible I missed it..

Four-star defensive tackle D'Andre Litaker of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., didn’t tip his hand by naming any leaders after Saturday’s visit, but sources close to his recruitment said Tennessee has emerged as the early favorite to land him. Litaker has been high on the Vols for months and has gotten more comfortable with them each time he has made the trip to Knoxville, and while he holds offers from most of the teams in the SEC, no other school has caught his attention quite as much as Tennessee to this point.

If we could get one of the instate DT's to commit, I think the flood gates would open with the instate guys. At this point it definitely looks like Butch is gonna lock down then state of TN.
