'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I don't see any publicity that comes with the action. HS coaches may ***** about it some but it's not like it's being broadcast across the news outlets. And right, wrong or indifferent you'll probably find that more coaches than not cut kids; so many of us are receiving the "negative publicity".

I'm not saying too many make into mainstream national media. I'm talking more along the lines of front page of the recruiting sites. Yeah, we have been front and center quite a bit the last few years say on 247 with articles about us cutting kids loose. I agree we aren't the only ones doing it, maybe other programs are better at keeping it quiet. 247 isn't the USA Today, but recruits and their families are checking it out constantly.

Serious question, how have we been "front and center"?
Can you provide links to posts or front page stories on this because I can't recall any specifically or how it is covered on us more than any other program doing?

Otherwise just seems like you pushing the same old agenda leb

He said prior to TH to Clemson that the board was too negative and almost unbearable. I'd say that the TH news eliminated the 'almost' for him. JMO

And many people supposedly "in the know" have been wrong many times this recruiting cycle. Sometimes you need to take a break to refresh.

I wouldn't. I trust our staff's evaluations and expect our class to be great, whether it's by signing some underrated players, our players getting bumped, or parting ways with a few guys to finish strong.

That a girl!! I absolutely agree with you, until Butch gives me a reason not to trust his recruiting, i'm going to wait and see... Bet we won't be disappointed!

If you search the numerous names of those dropped I'm sure you would find the stories and articles. Of course I haven't saved and bookmarked them. Anyone who reads 247 regularly know the articles have been there.

An easy one.

Try Tim Hart. That one did make it into USA Today.

So Google OUR recruits names.
Then we will see how all the stories are about our recruits.

Wonder who I would find stories about if I Google other school's recruits instead.

You can do that if you like. Of course if say USC drops a recruit it doesn't really have a negative impact on my Vols. Usually only when I read how our coaches have done it.

I agree.
You only try to research, repeat, point out, repeat, bring up and, oh yeah, repeat, anything negative about the Vols.

Why would I be overly concerned with what negative things other schools do? I've never been one to think if this school craps on their commitments then it's cool if we do as well. I'd like to see my Vols doing things better than those resorting to those tactics.

Of course.
You are derogatory towards the program constantly for their own good.
You smack talk them in front of recruits family because you care.
No doubt dude, we all believe you.

Makes perfect sense imo.

Smack talk in front of recruits family? You mean asking if offers have stipulations tied to them? That's smack talk? Interesting. What I find interesting is the same ones saying keep the negative stuff hush hush will be the first ones telling you how dumping a commitment is cool. Crazy stuff.

Given you are speaking to me, it's only natural to assume you are also speaking about me.
Please post a link for my "cool" comments.
Let me guess, don't have hard links for this claim either.
Shocking I tell you, it's almost like you are always exaggerating

You're correct in I haven't saved all the posts from everyone saying dumping a commit is ok. That would be a huge amount of posts.

Oh, and just for the record, you doing this little dance and trying to distract everyone, doesn't mean I have forgotten that you can't prove your stupid statement about us leading the way either.
Changing the subject is always your go-to whenever you get called out on your BS.

I believe I used the "front and center" description. Front page of 247 articles. USA Today, many other websites have posted stories. IMO it looks bad. I wish it wasn't something UT had tied to it.

The recruiting sites is what I was referencing. I don't see them saying we "cut" kids or pulled scholarship offers. Hart's ordeal was the only one where much "details" came out.

Exactly.... He points it out that we do it and acts like no one else does. We all know everybody does, so when it's pointed out, he says he knows but he wants us to be better and not have to do it? Which is of course impossible. He then makes up how bad it "hurts" us, and of course he can't provide proof that it hurts us more than anyone else.... So he then switches to 'why would I care how it hurts other programs'. Which was never the point or even discussed before, just continued deflecting and changing of the subject, as you said. All to keep the false narrative going. It's his game, always has been, nobody is this stupid. It's done on purpose. Different shtick, same style every year.
