'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Watch the Amazon show on the Arizona Cardinals season last year, should keep you sated until August.

Holy shnikes-- 401 pages on this thread to a kid who picked another school and trolled everyone, and still going... pitiful. Move on to who we still have a chance with! At this point Higgins is winning...

I just wondered if any of our Oak Ridge posters had heard anything. Someone texted me this morning with that info, so I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone knew anything. Fwiw, the number I heard was Cam Newton/Auburn type money.

Grow up.

If you could secure lets say 5 5* HS guys for around 180 grand each, it might be a reasonable value for your dollar.

I'd protect myself though. That 180 grand isn't all upfront. Its paid out in 3-4 lump sums at the start of each year. That way they can't take the cash and just transfer in a year. I prefer free luxury housing to cash. When their times done, you still own it and can offer it to the next guy you need to sign.

For real. Who gives a sh*t about the NCAA rules anymore? It's become a joke anyway. Butch needs to start opening his checkbook considering most of the big time programs pony up cash to recruits.

Money doesn't come from the HC, only the really slimy schools (OM, AU) go 'all in' from the HC down. Normally boosters/asst coaches.

Alabama is the most egregious offender. Always have been, and always will be. The others see them getting away with it and piling up championships, and they say if that's what it takes...pass the plate boys.

Agree, although this 'little brother' tries to give them a run for their Money...

Like this quote today.
-Standout CB Dangelo Gibbs of Georgia is trending to the Dawgs, but we can report he plans to hit at least one Auburn game this fall.-247 AU staff writer

He even knows for some kids, it only takes 'one' visit

Coincidentally the last, and the only other time Clemson has been nationally relevant in my lifetime. A Bammer was also running the show, and they got drilled for buying players, and they got caught trying to buy players from Tennessee...IIRC.

Preston will make all of you that are hurt over not getting Tee, get over it real quick in about a month and a half. He's gonna show he's a better WR and missing Tee won't stop the show.

I actually think if PW has a great season, UT doesn't miss out on Tee. If the Vols can show Tee that receivers can be successful in their offense, Tee may be back in play. I believe Tee, like most elite talent wants to be a 3 year guy, and right now, with the way Vols receivers have looked the last couple years, CU looks more inviting for that to happen.

What do kids 2 years apart have to do with each other? Tee would be nice in 2019 when PWill is long gone.
