'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I was at the game too. The only one he made look like a middle schooler that night was the shrimp CB they had on him for a while.. He looked good but didn't look like 5 star/#1 WR material to me that night. Especially against a not very good DB team..

I saw Little Man Stewart absolutely eviscerate a better DB team in the playoffs. That's what 5 star talent should do in the TSSAA...

I wasn't at the DB game but saw him play in a different game. All I knew was that folks were saying that number 5 was a great player. He was not a factor, whatsoever.

I believe the rating is on potential based on how he does in the camps he goes to.

If the Vols are an 11 win team in late November and the passing game opens up with the young guys at WR (Preston, Callaway, Johnson, Byrd, etc.), I think Butch can flip him. It's an uphill battle, though.

All we can do is beat Clemson in the playoffs (if they make it) and win the national championship and make Tee, Rodgers and HJ regret choosing them over the Vols.

He didn't have to sound so smug about it in his interview. Talk about a turn around of events. If his family are big time VOL fans as someone alluded to you sure wouldn't know it from those comments.

Oddly that doesn't really hold water. As Butch has won more, recruiting has declined. He won 7, and the 2016 class wasn't what most expected. A step back from the previous year. He then wins 9 and it looks worse. Yes, it's July, but there's obviously issues right now recruiting wise.

Those sure winning 10 cures all looks like a lot of hope and little to support it to me.

We'll agree to disagree. We had more spots and more PT to offer. Now winning has to be the draw.

Thanks...I know it was an innocent reference, but really freaking specific! Found out that breast cancer that recurs as metastatic cancer in other parts of the body is practically a death sentence. My sister-in-law just received that same diagnosis. Two sisters same fate.

Ah man, that stinks. So terrible for their family and for you.

I really wish we could please end this thread. He's committed to Clemson and not our Vols sadly...nothing else to talk about. ZERO. Sick of the disappointment by seeing his thread name pop up everyday

You know you just bumped it. Then I had to bump it to remind you that you bumped it.

And the ways things, "Apparently", went down. I don't think Butch would take him back anyway.:hi: Just glad he did not go to a rival sec team.

Just curious if anyone else has heard the rumor of a large sum of money changing hands?

You know, I saw the text of this post and started to laugh. Then I saw that cncchris posted it, and know that he is a very good poster.

I won't lie, I am now intrigued.
