People dogging Clemson are clueless. The campus is beautiful, fans are supportive, they have a great coaching staff, are in the midst of huge facility upgrades and win football games. I love UT but that doesn't mean I can't see the appeal of another school. It's not like the kid picked Wake Forest.

Actually, the national championship game was the first time I've ever, EVER rooted for Alabama when there wasn't a direct benefit to UT involved. Clemson is that unpalatable to me. But generally I agree with you.

Oh it's whatever. Most of these kids are bandwagonners just like a lot of these so called fans for other teams are bandwagonners. Only root for teams that's winning which is beyond pathetic. There's no such thing as true fans anymore which is sad.

Damn. I hate being negative on such a happy holiday but man....this one stings bad.

The worst part is we now are going into the season without a cornerstone piece to our class. The class that before 2016 was inked, everyone said to look to as a class that could be special. Top 3 caliber. And for the first summer in Butch's tenure we don't have a cornerstone piece to help recruit at all of these camps.

Last year we had JG, the summer prior we got a huge boom in Kahlil. Before that, if I am not mistaken, we had Jalen Hurd. Now, Amari/Tee/HJ will be at the Opening recruiting some of the guys we want to Clemson, and we are losing out on so much of the top in-state talent that should have been ours.

I said in a few other WR recruit posts this could happen. Our severe lack of a passing game is going to hamper our recruitment of elite receivers. I just never thought a 5* in our own backyard who has grown up watching TN play would be a side-effect. I thought if one guy was immune to our WR-corp troubles it would be him. Well.....guess not. Man, this class is very disappointing so far. We HAVE to win this season.

Butch Jones's seat is now the hottest in the country. He at the very minimum has to make the playoff. Unbelievable. Fence is low.
