Realistic concern for sure. I'd have trouble sending a kid to play WR for Tennessee. He can play RB but not WR right now. I'd rather him go to a small school. We are very creative for the RBs but not with the WRs. And that's concerning seeing that Butch was creative at other stops.

Again, see: Marquez North. Hell, Josh Malone is probably used against us.

Dabo wanted him too. His career stats are equal to what Dabo is likely touting that Tee will put up in 4-5 games at Clemson.

This is what happens when your leading receiver has 409 yards for an entire season. Can't blame Tee at all this one just stings

Maybe clemsons style fits him better...who cares? As long as we win i couldn't care less how or with what players. Lets go run the ball down everyone's throats!

Funny how our fan base has this false sense of entitlement over Clemson at the present. That coaching staff has proven more in every aspect than Butch right now. I can't even get mad about a kid wanting to play WR there. They are featuring WRs extremely well.

The issue I see is the level of apparent deception. I know recruits tell people what they want to hear, but there was an incredible amount of confidence from all the UT insiders. What's a coach to do if the recruit, dare I say lies straught up to him?

Clemson is really attractive right now for a lot of legit reasons, hopefully 5 years from now UT will have won 50 plus games and is plucking 5 star talent out of other teams backyards.

If we don't see a nice spike in the passing game in 2016, we can't realistically expect to see guys like Tee sign with UT. Since Butch and Azzani came to Knoxville, we've seen a lot of highly rated WRs struggle to put up even decent numbers.



Honestly I don't really expect to see much of a spike in the passing game until Guarantano or Dormady are under center either. It might be 2019 before we're in a position to really be able to sell WR production to top recruits. We've just gotta hope the guys we have can perform well until then.

IMO Butch and Z got caught up in the big NFL prototype looking WRs they could pull at TN and forgot about system fit. If they are going to recruit big WRs it needs to be guys like Malone and Higgins that can move with the ball in their hands. Otherwise they need speed speed speed. Guys that's are practically RBs playing WR. That is the type of guy Clemson has had success with the past few years in Watkins, Hopkins and now Scott. Butch and company figured out the issues once pig went down and have been heavily focused on athletes to just get the ball too. I'm expecting a much better pass game now that we got guys like Byrd, Callaway, Johnson and Latrell coming in to go with smith in his right position at slot, Preston, Jennings and Malone. No excuses for a bad pass game this year. The pieces are there.

I understand that concern turtles, we all do. But why the hell did Tee apparently lead on our staff? If he and his family feel that way and obviously they do, why weren't they honest a long time ago? Hell why even bother coming to OCD? All of our media and insiders called him to UT every damn one. They usually aren't that off the mark. Tee obviously lied to our staff.
