Josh Smith is going to watch him play basketball this weekend with some players. It's in the recruit tweets thread.

Basketball may play more in his recruitment than most think. Rumors, yes, rumors have him with some interest in Ole Miss b/c they are RUMORED to want him for both sports. Apparently no other SEC school has that on the table. I don't believe everything I hear and February 2017 is a long time away. Just thought I would stir the pot.

I say there is a better than 50% chance he signs with UT. 70%, if forced for an exact prediction.

I'd really like to get him back into the fold sooner than later. Hopefully, once the 2017 ball gets rolling (again), he can build some relationships with our commits and feel at home again.

2017 QB is important for WR recruiting. It doesn't matter who is on campus. They want to see who is in their class, because they will always envision that guy as the guy who is going to be throwing to them.

Equally important is seeing the passing game improve this season on the field. Big seasons out of Preston and Malone are needed to sell the WR position at UT again.

i could def see that being imp, despite us only having 4 **** qbs on campus now. We need a 5th before we can be effective in passing game.

I think he waits until close to signing day next year just to see how many more basketball offers he gets. Which helps us because once we go undefeated everyone will want to jump on the big orange train.

Hope Tee realizes his future is a WR and not a shooting guard. Playing two sports is great in high school and all that can should. But, once you get to the next level and you have the (WR) talent of Tee you need to stick with what you are best at (football) and make the best possible decision centered around that.

Didn't realize that Tee was a 5 star recruit in both sports. I knew he was in football. I do believe Auburn is the only school though offering him to play both sports.

Unless you are Tee himself I would have at least a moderate amount of concern at this point with his decommit and and Clemson interest. I believe in Butch though and he has plenty of time to work his magic.

OT, DE, TE, or my personal favorite, ST field goal blocking specialist. A guy that big and athletic could hurt somebody. He also had pretty good hands.

He is just taking a step back from his commitment to make sure UT is the right choice for him. He is by far still very interested in Tennessee and I would venture to say we lead here. He will come full circle and I will say he will be a Vol once again.

If Tee does by chance commit to and then play for Clemson then I will be very unhappy

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he tweet a pic of him with all of his family and friends in Orange when he committed? I realize it was just a picture but his family loves the VOLs.


Once he sorts though the questions he has, the young man will be in Knoxville next fall.
