Before you can make an attempt to solve a problem you have to recognize you've got a problem. If they haven't realized they've got a problem when it comes to the passing game, then we've got big problems.I assure you that the Clemson staff is visiting other programs as well. That's what coaches do. I wouldn't read efforts to improve as acknowledgment of failure.

I think it's all that and DeBord. He never goes to the quick game to take pressure off the line. Never goes to where the the blitz is coming from whether it be safety, corner, or LB. Some of it is because we've not had an experienced QB coach. DeBord has done one thing, improved the run game. Our passing is really no better than when Butch arrived, maybe even regressed slightly on the long ball. JmoOur problems in the passing game aren't related to debord IMO.
Our line doesn't pass block well. Our QB has trouble being consistently accurate. A few of our WR have not played up to their ability. We play too many WR as well IMO.

This class could end up being top three of not number one if we have a good season. I think Tee still ends up here if he decides to play football. You end up with him, Gray, Trey smith, Stevens, Gibbs, Foster, Wade, Cosby, Richardson, and Chandler. That would be nuts and I think that's a really good possibility.
I think we are still in good position here. He just wants to be sure UT is still for him. Ut still leads here.
I think he's probably overwhelmed by the recruiting. Flattered that the No. 1 QB in the land is kissing his butt. And he may be a follower rather than a trail blazer, JMO. You know him better and hope you don't think I'm out of line.
