'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Anybody else concerned with Tee + Clemson? Seems to follow/like a lot of Clemson stuff on Twitter.

With us only taking 3 instate kids this year, I'll be concerned with most of the instate guys next class. As much as I want to think snubbing the state talent this year won't affect next year, we'll see how it goes. I think it was a mistake.

Clemson is only taking 1 vertical threat type receiver in 2017 (along with 1 slot type guy). Tee is one of three guys they're looking at, along with Florida 5* JJ Robinson and instate 4* Ortre Smith. Both of those guys are supposed to be favoring Clemson heavily, so if one commits I imagine that'd relieve some pressure on Tee.

Appreciate the into, but 'lol' at the pressure on Tee. He will end up at UT no matter what Clemson does. You can go ahead and resign yourself to that fact.

That's why you don't make the decisions. This in-state class was weak compared to '14 and '15 and definitely compared to '17. If you are going to go light, this was the one to do it on. Stop worrying about silly stuff.

No. Tennessee is one of the most elite programs in college football history. The Tennessee brand is a huge deal. I'm not concerned with Clemson. I can assure you Butch Jones & the Vols aren't concerned with Clemson. Tee Higgins is a great HS football player, but he will sign where he signs & that's that. UT will survive either with him or without him.

I know the state trooper with him. I wouldn't mess with him lol. Fun fact he also holds my high schools rushing records and I do mean all of them. He rushed for 2800 yards his senior yr.
