'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I wouldn't lol too much. Would not be shocked to see him flip before school is out. Hunter Johnson is all over him and soon Amari will be even more when he commits. This one will be a dog fight to hold onto.

Lol

With us only taking 3 instate kids this year, I'll be concerned with most of the instate guys next class. As much as I want to think snubbing the state talent this year won't affect next year, we'll see how it goes. I think it was a mistake.

So you advocate taking not good players just for the hell of it? This year's instate group wasn't very good at all with UT only being interested in about 4 guys.

I think the issue would be I feel there were SEC caliber talent that wasn't pushed for by our staff. I get they liked other guys and took them. The fact schools like Ole Miss, A&M, ND, Michigan, UCLA, Clemson, Oregon and others wanted those "not good players" tells me we could have seen a lot of them succeed in UT Orange.

Or Tennessee could be better at evaluating talent than you and other teams.

I think Head is fair to be concerned with Clemson more so than most of you guys. They are definitely someone to keep on the radar in regards to Tee as they are nationally relevant right now. I hope Butch remembers to continue to recruit him and not neglect him because he's been committed for a while in UT's backyard.

"Unless Butch stops recruiting the number one player in the state of Tennessee, and top 5 WR in the country" ...I wouldn't bet on him doing this lol.

I'll see what I can find out on the Tee and Clemson front but the last I'd heard from here in oak ridge is he is just enjoying the recruitment but he will be a vol come signing day 2017 plus mom wants him close by.
