'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Easy.. No disrespect intended at all.. I said he looked good.. Had a great catch for the long TD.. It's one game, early in the season against a good opponent.. Barring injury, I believe he'll put up huge numbers this year..

The 'man amongst boys' comment is JMO.. An example of what I mean is when James 'Little Man' Stewart came to DB during the playoffs and single handedly destroyed DB.. He literally never left the field.. Admittedly Tee has a better supporting cast and doesn't have to carry his team the way Stewart did..

That being said, I am thrilled Tee is committed to the Vols..

Okay thanks for the clarification. GBO!

He had one catch tonight for 25 yards, but it was a back shoulder throw that a guy his size should not be able to adjust to. He is a freak athlete.

I was field level when he made that catch.. It was a tough catch for anyone to make.. Pretty impressive..

I had to laugh when he was lined up wide.. He made the DB covering him look like a middle schooler... Haaa..

Those stats are still impressive for a WR if his team struggles in the passing game. Also heard he threw up the Vol sign after that long TD.

What would his stats be if he had Charlie High throwing him the ball?

sept. 1 is the first day college coaches are allowed to contact high-school juniors, and four-star junior wide receiver tee higgins of oak ridge (tenn.) high school said the vols were the first team to contact him via twitter just after midnight tuesday morning.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound higgins said tennessee wide receivers coach zach azzanni was the first to reach out to him, and defensive coordinator john jancek — his area recruiter for the vols — quickly followed suit. After hearing from tennessee, higgins said he received messages from clemson, penn state, notre dame, arizona state, mississippi state and georgia.

I was told when Hunter committed the first call he made was to Tee and asked him if he was ready to get this started and Tee said he was and now the ball is rolling.

Tee looked pretty good in the farragut game. Had about 120 yards and two td's in the first half. Pretty sure he had 0 catches and a couple drops in the second half though. Farragut beat them pretty soundly.

Butch and Azzani will be at the game tonight watching Tee. Also, Tennessee has been inquiring about Middleton again.

It was 3rd and 8 and Oak Ridge was wining handedly. Tee takes it 30 yards to the house on the same sideline Butch and Azzani were on. Also, it would be hard to say the coaches didn't have a keen eye on Middleton last night. He had his best game in 2 years as a Wildcat.

Ya Middleton was tough, I left after third quarter so Jones as I was walking out. Tee was doubled covered all night and still caught and made a nice catch in the first half. He cut off his route to comeback and help the qb it was a nice play. They threw a fade to him late in the first half it was over thrown bad but you can tell the kid can jump. I wouldn't mind getting back on the Middleton train at all. When that pick six happened on that wide reciever screen he about chased that kid down from behind. He can fly for a 250 kid.
