Sports and especially our teams are what dreams are made of...

Reality was the last years of Coach Fulmer's tenure at Tennessee, I pretty much knew that his Teams would not beat any team that they weren't supposed to beat...no upsets. But I hunkered down and watched every single one. kiffin and dooley taught me to expertly fast forward to minimize the pain.

Coach Butch Jones is bringing Tennessee Football back in style! He is developing the team the right way with high quality people who just happen to be phenomenal football players as well.

Just this past week, I had to tell a 19 year old that the lesion in his Tibia could be cancerous. We needed better imaging with an MRI. Thankfully, I also got to tell him that it was totally benign. That is real.

Sports drama about where a kid wants to go to college is just for fun and entertainment...imo, a kid who apparently deceived the Tennessee coaches in order to "have his moment " is also unlikely to be that high quality person that CBJ is looking for. I could be wrong...

Sorry to hear about the 19 yr old. Your perspective is how it should be but other speak on kids parents etc and have no public knowledge of anything. The highlighted portion is the issue how do you know what kind of kid he is? How do we know for a fact he deceived the coaches or did they just get that confident and think he was theirs to lose? I've heard both from coaches and from the kid's family. That what I speak about ppl and assumptions on a kids character because he doesn't pick the school of your fandom. If he switches tomorrow he'll be the best ever in UT history before he touches the field.

What you're witnessing now is the Saturday morning front porch. Mostly solo cups, trashed furniture and the occasional insult as the dissidents exit the premises.

Eventually the foot traffic will abate to the point where the grass turns green again. New coat of paint, new tenant...it's a cycle.

Although there is that Gibson place around the corner where the windows are still broken and the door has yellow tape on it. Sometimes the grass never returns...but at the end of the day this was a liberal arts gal and they're dramatic.

To be fair he did say he "could be wrong." This site is not called collegefootballnation, it is called VOLNATION. Expecting people to just be unfazed when Tee films his Clemson announcement in UT's backyard and really gives out the vibe he was all UT...its not gonna happen.

Personally I dont care where he goes but I understand the sentiment on here, especially since this is probably the most obvious place to find it.

I think Spiller is very legit, has very good numbers, just can't stay healthy. Whether Bryant can stay clean or not, he's in the league making some damn good plays when he is. Then throw in an easily top 4-5 WR in the NFL in Deandre Hopkins.......

Conversely, we unfortunately don't have anyone we can point to similarly. Kids wanna see schools put their players at their position in the NFL and right now, at the WR and rb positions, Clemson has that over us pretty much in spades.

I keep hearing about how great Clemson WRs have been. But does anyone stop to think that having QBs like Boyd and Watson slinging the ball around may have something to do with their success?

Isn't Spiller a RB? Aside from that, plenty of schools are able to claim WRU if all it takes is two WRs. Bama, LSU, heck even Georgia Tech up until this season had as much NFL production.

Now admittedly all that is irrelevant to Tennessee's recent trouble placing receivers in the NFL. Hopefully Butch changes that trend. I just wanted to note that several schools have been just as prolific as Clemson in this aspect.

As a Steelers fan I'd call Bryant an "inhaler" not an "impacter" Lately he's had less impact than Cordarelle Patterson.

I love the Clemson campus I actually wanted to go there because it was sorta secluded and I wouldn't be distracted during college
