Can't say I blame the kid. South Carolina has wanted him since the beginning and were patient through his waiting for a Bama offer and multiple visits to UT. All while we slowed played him.

If Butch can land one of Akers or Chandler and get Smith on board and upgrade a couple of guys, then I will consider that pretty good from where we are now. We can afford to take a lower ranked class 1 out every 4 years and be OK. Hopefully as some have said, some of these 3* guys will be great.

We gotta win 10 to recruit well in 18 IMHO.

Y'all are nonstop entertainment. Even the "faithfuls" are running around like your hair is on fire. As many recruiting seasons as most of you have been through and it never ceases to amaze me how some get so worked up. If it's middle of February 2017 and this is where we stand then, by all means, raise your white flags. Until then, maybe we can get Freak to shut down the recruiting forum so that some of you will back off the ledge.

Last years class was around 14th. Can't make a habit of it.

I think it's a few things: Lawsuit did not help and gave more ammo to our rivals; blowing 4th quarter leads definitely has not helped, and lack of a passing attack.

If we win 10 and still cannot recruit any better and miss on Akers and Chandler then something crazy is going on.

I do believe that winning will solve this.

Has anyone asked Fortenberry what in hells name is going on with recruiting? A player expected to come here surprises USCe with his commitment. Beyond embarrassing it is getting very concerning. What is going on???!!!!!
