I am a UA alum. That nearby paper mill did stink, but believe it or not, your sense of smell adjusts to where you don't notice it.

We should not complain. I would not have any problem with Tennessee doing whatever the hell It is Bama has in place that has put them where they are pertaining to football.

Surly you don't believe Bama runs a clean program? I don't think any power five coach runs a clean program, but Bama is on another level of unclean. Their entire state takes the "look the other way" approach. Bama plays by different rules than everyone else. TN media would bash and trash our program for anything bigger than a prick on the finger, while Alabama's media wouldn't dare cross Bama, even under extreme circumstances. Bama can recruit and obtain academic risks that other teams can't get in. Moreover, Bama gets by with minimal disciplinary action. Butch cut AJ Johnson (as he should have), our best player at the time, for an alleged sexual assault (which now has gone through the court process). You think Bama does that? You guys have Cam Robinson getting what, a 1 game suspension, for having stolen firearms and narotics in the car? Yea, that wouldn't fly here with the TN media, and Butch would be annihilated by the press. Again, Bama plays by different rules than everyone else.

Kudos to them. They figured out the NCAA would never do anything to them, so they are operating with a huge safety net. Just be a man and admit it. Im sure we all wish it was UT in that place.

They're throwing stacks of cash at recruits and their families just like Bama and everyone else. You really think Saban runs a clean program? I don't believe you truly believe that. Every single program has bagmen, $100 handshakes, etc. Especially elite programs like Bama. And good for you, I wish UT would have more bagmen, clearly we're in need.

Cash money is hard to trace, almost impossible. Cash exchanged from associates of Boosters to handlers, that's hard to find, hard to trace. You almost have to have them tell on themselves by showing up in a car that you know they can't afford. They simply look the other way a lot of times at cash cow programs.

Shepard is different though. He isn't a recruiting insider so to speak. He is a publicly stated vol fan that happens to write for team he loves and has some connections. He always prefaces that he could easily be wrong on things while these other guys will not recognize that they are wrong and just move on like it never happened
