"Among others" was my catch-all, which includes that for Ole Miss. Nowadays, Bama can get plenty of talent without taking that kind of risk. Saban insists that Bama's compliance department do its job to ensure a clean program. It's just not worth the risk and there's no real need to take that risk of jeoparding the run Bama is on.Or, the bigger bag. J/K, sort of, not really if I'm talking to a Bama guy.

True. But, I seriously doubt Saban would risk NCAA sanctions just to get a given stud player who's a pay-for-play guy. See Robert Nkemdiche. Saban can get another stud instead. No need to take the risk. Just not worth it.Sorry, if an elite player is getting 100k to go somewhere, he's not going to turn around and go to Alabama for free.

Can you make a good case for why he wouldn't?
I've been very suspicious of Bama's run for a while. I agree it can be self sustaining (good players want to play with other good players and win). But I've long wondered how he keeps them all happy. I have no proof. Just a suspicion. These dynasties almost always end with allegations of major recruiting scandals.

Lol.. Nah it's because Saban is a football god. Just didn't morph into that until he got 6 #1 classes in a row. We're not the only ones taking notice of that. It's starting to become blatantly obvious at this point.Your roster is full of blue chips, and you don't think they are pay for play? Excuse my thinking here, but are you a complete idiot?
