'17 MS RB Cam Akers (FSU commit 12/27)

That's not true unless things changed that much since yesterday. We were ~5th just yesterday on his lists. FSU & OSU has been at the top of his lists for a while now & recently LSU popped into it. Sure not us but if Fort said it today then Akers has definitely changed his mind. Did he visit with UT staff yesterday or today?

Where are you seeing his list?

"I don't think he was ever off the table. The reality is he and his family have kept things extremely close to the vest. For some reason, a lot of analysts act like he didn't take a two-day unofficial visit to Tennessee when they played Alabama.

Now, do I know what he will do? No idea. Like I said earlier, Tennessee and Ohio State are viewed as the teams to watch by some. Others think it's LSU, Ole Miss and FSU.

When you see this kind of all over the map stuff, you never know exactly what to think."

Can he get official in at all after December 10th?

Quiet period starts what the 12th?

If he is here the 11th could that work?

Allstar game is typcially in afternoon, does he have an official left?

That was a quick backtrack. Think LSU has the mo here.

So nobody really knows. Back to your drinks folks

This is awesome. Akers wasn't even close to even wanting to become a Vol. CBJ is most certainly doing his thing. That's why I said we can't ever give up on ANY recruit.

He's visited on his own dime a handful of times this summer and fall. There's been plenty of interest on his part in becoming a Tennessee volunteer.

Jelly, Cam, and Ty would be a hell of a trio! I guess you could add CFA to that rotation as well, I'm still not sold on him yet though.
