That's not true unless things changed that much since yesterday. We were ~5th just yesterday on his lists. FSU & OSU has been at the top of his lists for a while now & recently LSU popped into it. Sure not us but if Fort said it today then Akers has definitely changed his mind. Did he visit with UT staff yesterday or today?

Doubt it Bassmaster. Akers hasn't had us higher than 3rd since we started recruiting him. Right now, we're ~5th or so. Looking like either FSU or OSU for this kid. Still can't rule out LSU or Bama though.

This is awesome. Akers wasn't even close to even wanting to become a Vol. CBJ is most certainly doing his thing. That's why I said we can't ever give up on ANY recruit.

He's visited on his own dime a handful of times this summer and fall. There's been plenty of interest on his part in becoming a Tennessee volunteer.
