I think there's a good chance Akers returns to Tennessee on an official visit. If the Vols don't make it to the SEC championship game, I believe they're hoping to host him the weekend of Dec. 3. But none of that is set in stone right now, and there are obviously other teams battling for his remaining visits.

I'm hoping Cam is taking a close look at our offense with AK and JK being the primary backs. We look so much different with them than we did with Hurd as the featured back.

Having said that, this makes me question the staffs' decision to feature Hurd over Kamara this year and last. It's painfully obvious AK is better suited for our offense, so why would they not make him the featured back? Maybe it's loyalty to a fault, but you have to do what gives your team the best chance for success. JMO, but they should have given Dormady a chance in the SCar game. Dobbs obviously was having an off night and they have given QD a chance to change things up a bit. Butch just seems to be unwilling to rock the boat when there are times the boat needs to be rocked. Might have saved us the loss against SCar.

Hope they can convince Akers he is a great fit for our offense!

Could also really hurt us if he is a power back and not a speed back seeing that our power guy left the team

Yes, having Chandler & Akers as a double whammy as our RB's for the future would be really nice. I just don't have a lot of confidence in us landing Akers though. I never really have. I think he's either FSU or OSU. We're probably about 4th in the running right now I would say.
