You're saying VQ pumps sunshine? I don't see it, man, they seem to do anything but. Those guys always lean pessimistic. It was clear they were getting info from CRG who felt confident. You saying that was a lie?

It was trending down well before the hotseat conversation began. Probably when HJ flipped was the catalyst. The finish is just a consummation of the way it was going.

Going to be one of those what if classes. We got Smith because his sister is at Tennessee but... if we had the season we were supposed to, I bet we get this guy and a LOT more.

Lie? No Hyperbole? Perhaps

Just like with that stupid Haney article, it's whatever sells. And, that is what they are told to do. Most people didn't have a huge problem with the body of the article, just the headline. Most people don't realize it's never the journalist that picks the headline and no question the editor picked the 'shock' headline to drive clicks. That, and let's be honest, unfortunately a lot of people don't read past the headline anymore. Just my :twocents:

Maybe so. I was thinking LSU might be the surprise announcement tonight for Akers. That offer could be a sign LSU has learned Akers is headed elsewhere.

Haney works for 247 not VQ. I'm specifically talking about VQ. Those guys are not sunshine pumpers looking for clicks.

Any idea of the talent in TN for '18? Seems Tennessee is really growing, especially around Nashville.
