Game over. When VQ starts providing information like this on the day of a big announcement, it means we are not getting that recruit. I knew that quote from Hubbs late last night was the beginning of telling the fan base that he is not coming here.

My question is, why get everyone's hopes up? Why not be Callahan who was straight forward the whole time? People I guess prefer their news differently.

Hmmm...it will be a pretty tough sell to let Jay Graham go after what he's done with Devonta Freeman, Karlos Williams, and Dalvin Cook. I like Gillespie, but that's a pretty strong resumé for Graham.

Part of me thinks your comment was made tongue-in-cheek.

This isn't too far from the truth, IMO. Any school worth its salt would be in Akers' ear regarding CBJ's hot seat, and the distinct possibility that CRG may not be employed at UT in 2018.

Although all signs are beginning to point to FSU, CRG deserves accolades for keeping UT in this one. He's arguably the MVP recruiter of the staff.

Not quite, he said there was a bunch of orange in the filming (which was true and said he believed to be why he was picking UT, and then said the final outcome was Clemson and apologized for being initially wrong).
