I think it is obvious what CBJ thinks of the star system. I think he has an idea of how the rest of the class is gonna shake out. We didn't take this kid because we probably have guys the coaches like more still in play. Stars are great and we'll get some more but just let CBJ & Co. do their thing without obsessing over stars.

I respect your opinion. Bammer, Fl, clemson,lsu, auburn, fsu, osu were full of stars in the past 10 yrs. Most of them won the title. As for me...CBJ has to prove he can even win it with the stars first. If he can't. ...I will not believe he can with below star talent.

UT has been down so long and there are still so many questions about whether Butch will get it done here or not. I personally think he will but some of this year's recruits weren't for sure and made business decisions they felt were the best for them. I fully believe that we win at least the east this year and are competitive if not win the SECCG. I also think we are selected for and win a top NY6 bowl if we don't make the playoffs. Then Cam, JRM, Kamara, Hurd, Barnett, and Josh Smith, at a minimum will be drafted and head to the league. That's six minimum. That should be enough recruiting ammo for Butch to silence the haters and bring in another top class next year after proving he can put kids in a position to win championships. We just haven't proven anything yet. I hope the season is a great one and Butch can flip some kids that he has higher rated than current commits. I truly believe we wind up with a top 10 class after the results of our season are seen. :popcorn:
