I mean he said this while at Bama vs Mississippi all star game. Not many guys in that game to choose from. Not sounding like its corker, so then Labryan Ray is left. Any news on Ray like when he's visiting, or when he's making a decision.

Not sure if they burned a bridge or not, but it's worth keeping in mind that Ignont apparently wasn't a take for LSU at the time he committed to Tennessee. The Tigers do seem to be looking for linebackers right now, and they also are in the running for Jacob Phillips and others, so that's something to watch, too. We'll see whether they have room. But Ignont at least has discussed taking an official visit to LSU in January.

I don't see the need to panic. He's a Vol and won't change his commitment because LSU offers an olive branch. Even if he did visit LSU in January, he can do the same to UT. Thig's got him locked in.

LSU fixing to lose their LB commit, lots of talk on their board about coming after Ignont. I don't see him listening but interesting they named him as first replacement.

If it's Rice that's about to decommit from LSU, why would Ignont decide to flip to LSU? Wasn't it just asked just a few posts earlier in this thread if Ignont was going to LSU to play WITH his friend Rice?

Need to keep this guy, and adding another LB wouldn't hurt either! Why haven't we at least looked at TD Blackmon from maryville?

Ignont may not be top target in line on LSU's board if Rice flips. That doesn't necessarily mean LSU won't try hard to flip him. I think they want at least one, maybe even 2 more LBs even if Rice sticks. Vols had better keep showing a whole lotta love to Ignont. Would be a big loss.
