I thought he was timed sub 4.4 already before?

He was...after his junior year...in Alabama. I agree that he won't run that now but that wasn't the argument. There's tape of him running a 4.3.

I don't remember which game it was, but an announcer stated that the coaches had GPS tracking on all the players at practices and the results showed that Hurd was the fastest player on the team. I don't know what his current 40 time is, but I do know that makes him pretty damn fast.

Oh so you've timed him before? Please tell me...what is it that you do on the football team?

Hes just saying its a safe bet, rbs his size that run that fast are very few and far between. Hell even amari cooper didnt break 4.4 and he was regarded as a hell of an athlete.

Hurd is fast but I don't think he is as fast as what he's made out to be. I would say he runs closer to a 4.5-6
Not saying I'm not pleased with his speed because I do like his combination. I just know he isn't a true burner.

For comparison mcfadden ran a 4.33 40 at 6'2 and 210 pounds. As much as i love hurd i just cant imagine him running stride for stride with one of the SEC's most explosive and dynamic running backs EVER. Especially not at 20 pounds heavier.

Dobbs?

Did you watch any games this year?

Worley was more accurate. That worked out great. Dobbs was our 2nd leading rusher and went 4-1. And we scored 40+ points in a few of those games. He didn't even have 200 yards or 20 completions in the bowl game.

If this continues, will no longer be WRU. Gotta have a QB that can make the plays with his arm more.

Better OLINE will mean better passing game.
Pray for a better OLINE. I think DeBord is the guy that can get the Offense on the right track. Please let it be so!

I wouldn't put much stock in a few tenths difference in 40 times. Arian Foster was 4.71 on his pro day. We all know how that has turned out.

Between 3-5? We had already accepted his commitment and he's a borderline 5 star. Honestly now, would you have said he's our 3rd, 4th or 5th choice before he decommited?

Staff doesn't seem to be overly concerned about him decommiting nor did they go out of their way to retain him from what we've seen.

I guess just going off talent AK is probably higher overall but maybe for what the staff envision our offense being those other guys fit better.
