and would mean Cromp daddy was indeed pushing 5* status....was just stating a couple facts not looking to dispute the 60 range figure or anything else posted.

Crompton dropped a bit near signing day. He started the year as pretty much a consensus 5 star that year. He was a true blue chip elite prospect.

Here is Austin Kendall's quick reaction to coach Bajakian leaving Tennessee:

"Sad to see him go. I was closest with him from Tennessee but I've built the relationship with the staff that it won't change how I feel. Coach Jones said I'm their guy in 16' and they are only taking one QB from the 16' class."

Oden has an offer on the table. This kid is good, but I don't particularly like the "I'm the only guy" vibe.

There are offers on the table for several '16 QBs...that doesn't mean we take more than one. Kendall is a top QB next year...absolutely nothing wrong with him being "the only guy."

I'll not debate numbers with you. Even if one transfers, that leaves Dobbs (SR), 2 Soph/rFR, and Kendall (FR) in 2016. Don't see why "they will need" 2 in 16. If 2 transfer, or JJ moves to safety and one transfers, and we are left with only 3 QBs (including Kendall), then they'll take two.

I'm sure Austin Kendall understands that the situation is fluid this far out.

Staying in contact in others since we know KY won't stop recruiting Kendall and he will visit there since his brother is there.

Bajakian was Kendall's primary recruiter...wonder what the feel is on his end about the change. I guess all that will play out after the new hire is made. Hopefully he committed to the T and not Coach Jake.
