Are you for real!? The only real class we can judge this staff on based on game day performance is the 2014 class. Out of that class, there were 13 3*'s according to Rivals. 5 of those started at some point in time last year.
5.
True freshmen.
How can you seriously call the other 8 "failures" and imply this staff isn't doing a good job!?
Other than someone like a Cam Sutton (and even then, our CB depth was not good), 3 stars take some time to develop. Even a good 3 star takes a year or two to adjust to the game. With this being Butch's 3rd season, there hasn't been a whole lot of time yet. Even so, guys like Dobbs, Vickers, Robertson, Wolf, Owens, and Thomas are well on their way to make big contributions.
I said in the very short time Butch has been here. Butch did recruit several 3* players for the 2013 class after he was hired. I never said or implied that Butch and staff were not doing a good job. I also never said anyone was a "failure". Sick of people that can't read and comprehend what they are reading and then just make sh** up that was never said in the first place. I was quoting another poster on the fact that in general everywhere there are more 3* players that never pan out then those that are true difference makers.
Not at all. Compared to previous classes, this one is very lackluster. I also understand that 25% or so of the kids committed right now won't sign with Tennessee.

Not dogging you, but I read it the same way he did. May not be a comprehension thing at all, could just be that our brains did not read it the same way your brain thought it was being written. We can't read what words you were putting your inflections on.
Just a thought........or maybe I'm just stupid.
Look at it this way, Carlin Fils-Aime committed and every coach on staff tweeted about it. Blakley commits and nothing...
That must mean we definitely didn't want him since we accepted his commitment with Hart and Bituli as a tweener already on board in a small class. The fact we didn't tweet MUST say more than that
