'16 GA DB Nigel Warrior (UT commit 2/3/16)

He wasn't bad in the BG game. Probably wasn't used to CBs getting killed so early in the routes. Also he helped stop a lot of the plays the second half by rolling down on the motion man. I'd love to see him used in some nickel packages or some on offense(Orange Venom called for him to be a RB when he was recruited).

I can't blame him for the lack of pass coverage over the top on Moseley's side, however he was on his heels a lot when runs/yds after the catch were coming down the channel at him. His potential is very high and he will get better, but it seemed to me that he was thinking too much instead of stepping up and making plays.

I don think we have to worry about Nigel. Vol lock IMO.

Unless something has drastically changed in the last two weeks, you are correct. Warrior is tight with Martinez and knows he will play immediately with the departure of Randolph and McNeil.

He'll play early that for sure. Will be very hard to keep him off the field. The CBs will play early too. Moseley won't stop anyone from taking his spot in the rotation.

I agree with you about kids but these aren't kids. This is a sec senior offensive lineman who should have enough respect for his coach to keep his mouth shut. I am 23 years old and my generation is a bunch of whiny snobby babies. I miss the days when a guy would get benched and work his a$$ off to get back on the field and help his team. Now kids just pout and transfer.

I know the young men on the team aren't kids but the process of coaching is still similar just on an adult level as far as coaches giving players an attitude adjustment. Showing respect at any age is important.

I agree with your statement about others from your generation but I think every generation has something the previous generation doesn't like. Even at 23 I was still trying to get myself together from all the mistakes I made from the years before. We all have to make our way in life and some learn it faster than others.

What about bama 247 saying they lead?

And OrangeVenom saying NW's family was talking up bama?

Darrell Miller has been impressing in practice. Same with Griffin.

On Nigel: 60-40 us, but we really need to help ourselves by winning games.

Impress at practice then get no action where trash is playing..... Figures.... I was on the Foreman wagon until I watch him technically. And his lack of effort versus a rival like Florida needs him riding the pine for life.

From what I'm hearing, apperantly our staff is confident that they have all of their commits already. Whether or not that includes Nigel (more than likely) and/or Mecole, remains to be seen. It would be great to get both obviously.

The lack of effort in the second half of the UF and AR games from the defensive secondary has been painful to watch. I think the AR game was the worst.

I like those odds but if we were winning the games we should then the ratio would be much higher towards the good guys.

Would make sense, considering how quiet recruiting has been the last couple months. Of course, the losses could be affecting it, too.

Miller has been hurt until recently. With this staff if you get hurt it apparently takes you half a season of practices to prove yourself to them so id say he gets a chance come Vandy.

So basically we get to see the young talented players once we've lost to all the ranked teams?

Excellent.

It sure seems that way. Preston is the only injured guy I have seen them throw out there without a lot of practice time. He is just too good not too I guess and other WRs aren't doing jack. everyone else they drag their feet with

I sure hope not. I wanna see a RS for Taylor.

Edit: My mistake

As a fellow 23 yr old and retired athlete, I completely agree about our generation. Even if I didn't agree with my coach, I would NEVER say something like Crowder did. It's sports, things are gonna get heated sometimes. Grow up and get over it!! I was taught to respect my elders and people in authority over me. Crowder made himself look like an a** also with what he said. A lot of this generation are wussies and have no respect for those over us. Pisses me off. No wonder I like to hang around older folks

What about the WRs, especially Josh Malone? He consistently gives little effort. Drives me nuts! :banghead2:

I was hoping it didn't reflect on his effort or personality, but when I watched Malone play safety in HS it made me scratch my head at the lack of effort and toughness. Hopefully the light comes on soon and he starts working harder because he has the talent imo.
