What sport did you play?As a fellow 23 yr old and retired athlete, I completely agree about our generation. Even if I didn't agree with my coach, I would NEVER say something like Crowder did. It's sports, things are gonna get heated sometimes. Grow up and get over it!! I was taught to respect my elders and people in authority over me. Crowder made himself look like an a** also with what he said. A lot of this generation are wussies and have no respect for those over us. Pisses me off. No wonder I like to hang around older folks
Totally agree. Not to mention the sport is football and a coach is suppose to get in your face and fire you up when you need it.As a fellow 23 yr old and retired athlete, I completely agree about our generation. Mack Crowder and his 2 brothers were brought up the right way. His dad was the CEO of a coal company. He took all of the TVs out of the house when they were kids. I asked him one time what they did. .. He said they worked around the house, worked in the yard and hunted. Good Christian young men. One brother played football and graduated from Princeton the other played football and graduated from Cornell. That is the reason that Mack has been one of the unquestioned leaders of that team. Rest assured that he would never disrespect another player or coach... period. The only other thing I would add is to follow his wish and stay unified.
Come together
We could have come together before that false narrative was put out there imo. Now, we have a MASSIVE image problem created partially because of something that likely never happened.
I'll be honest, I take issue a little bit with people that were pushing this as a thing now asking Vol fans to come together. Maybe that's just me.
