'16 GA ATH Kyle Davis

He forgot Willie Gault, Anthony Hancock, Donte Stallworth, and the WR in a TE body (Jason Witten).

Yeah I didn't want to elaborate more and blow his mind. My point is we get WRs to the league over the course of several decades we've done that whether our team is up or down. UGA squanders a lot of talent, not saying we never do (Dooley years)but at WR our history is pretty damn good.

dad is right on. Another reason Van Jefferson soured on UGA. AU runs the ball a ton too though. I like where this is going nonetheless.

AU does run a lot but a lot of that was because Marshall wasn't a great passer. They threw a good bit last yr and now they have a QB that can throw as good as anyone. Would love to get this kid though!

All time UGA receivers:
AJ Green (All-World)
Hines Wars (Consistent Pro Bowler)

Then the list goes to:
Terrence Edwards (lol)
Andre Hastings (lol)
Reggie Brown (lol)
Fred Gibson (hahaha)
Marlon Brown (Mr. UGA Underachiever himself)

That took about 2 minutes of thinking. It would take me at least 20 mins to compile YOUR TENNESSEE VOLS all time greats, because of the copious amounts to choose from. Hang your hat on those Aaron Murray passing years though. Even when we've sucked we have still had more NFL starters at receiver

Hines Ward was a QB in college. He only became a WR in the NFL. Hard to list him as an all-time great UGA WR. It also proves the point (albeit in a different perspective) that UGA uses WR's like they do at GA Tech (although Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas would disagree). :)

Hines Ward was the QB for one year. Id hardly say he was a QB in college.

in his career at georgia, murray threw for over 13,000 yards and over 120 td's. How's the wr position not used?

Now mason is obviously a different story, added with the fact that you have gurley and the emergence of chubb.

I hear that talking point about wr's and georgia as if we run the offense that tech runs.

Don't fall for a talking point that is false.

Tennessee is WRU enough said!

You forgot a few like Mohammed Massaquoi and Tavarres King. And you're laughing at guys like Hastings and Brown yet you probably want to thump your chest over an Alvin Harper or Robert Meacham who haven't had any better careers than those guys. In fact, with Harper, we found out how good he wasn't in Tampa when there was no Michael Irvin on the other side.

Sure, you have Justin Hunter (who by all accounts should have a great career by the time it's done), Tim McGee, Carl Pickens and Pearless Price to your credit but for every one of them there is a Marcus Nash or a Kelley Washington. Of these, the last former Vol to catch for more than 1,000 yards was Price in 2002.

You guys have had some very good WRs hit the NFL but let's not throw around Hines Ward and AJ Green like they are just a couple of decent pass catchers among a group of bums. Both those guys will be in the HoF. And the for the misinformed previous poster, Ward was far more of a WR than QB or RB at UGA. And to that same point, Patterson has all the tools to be a HoF in the NFL but currently, they run him on so many jet sweeps and stuff that he has more rushing yards than receiving yards in his first two years.

Your WR's suck

Are you really here to pick a fight with THE WRU?

SEC teams ranked by all time 1st round receivers.

1. Tennessee 11
2. Florida 6
3. LSU 6
4. Alabama 2
5. Arkansas 2
6. Auburn 2
7. Georgia 2
8. South Carolina 2
9. Kentucky 1
10. Mississippi State 1
11. Missouri 1
12. Texas A&M 1
T13. Ole Miss 0
T13. Vanderbilt 0

Current Vols WRs in the NFL are Justin Hunter (852 yards, 7 TDs in 2 seasons) , Robert Meachem (2,914 yards, 27 TDs in 8 seasons) , Denarius Moore (2,169 yards, 17 TDs in 4 seasons), and Corderrelle Patterson (853 yards, 5 TDs in 2 seasons). That's not even including rushing stats, which Patterson has a lot of. If you include TEs, we have put Luke Stoker (298 yards in 2 seasons), Michael Rivera (941 yards, 8 TDs in 2 seasons), and Jason Witten (10,502 yards, 57 TDs in 12 seasons) into the league. This isn't including non pass catchers such as Peyton, Arian Foster, and EB.

We were, are, and will continue to be (with North, Pearson, Pig, Malone, Williams, etc.) WRU and no SEC school even comes close.

You forgot to drop the mic...

So, question. Why do you have to remind everyone constantly that you think Chubb the Georgia backfield is the best RB stable in the known universe? You've mentioned it about 30 times.

I didn't say anything about him my last post, you did. Herschel, Gurley, and Chubb are all elite. Id take them over most of UTs RBs. It's just fact. If you don't like that just ignore me. I don't really care.

Cat, you do come off as a Dawg fan more often than not. It's nearly every day that you're in some thread banging the Georgia drum. This is the first you've been called on it. Not trying to start an argument especially with the situation occurring with your grandma, but just saying.

I hope your family is doing ok. I'm sure this board gives you a mental break from that situation.

You didn't have to say anything about him in your last post, you've done it in numerous others. I'm not trying to pick on you, I know you are going through a rough spot I just chose this time to say something about it.

I don't put people on ignore, I think it's silly.

Haha ok.

Kyle was named 7-on-7 Offensive Alpha Dog

Offensive alpha dog

This selection was by far the toughest to call because different offensive skill players went through different hot streaks over the course of the event but when Kyle Davis got hot, it was unlike anything else we saw. The kid is massive at 6-1.5, 218 pounds but he can run past defenders at that size, catch in traffic and create separation. When separation isn't there, you don't want to fight with Davis for that football.

As the ultimate sign of respect, Davis' Fly Rush team made it to the semifinals of the tournament and on every third down, the Lunar Beast squad would line up two defenders in press coverage on the line of scrimmage as if they were defending a gunner on punt team. They were willing to let anyone else take their chances before they'd give Davis single coverage.

Currently ranked as the No. 5 wide receiver in the country per 247Sports Composite, Davis has Crystal Ball predictions in for Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn.
