'16 GA ATH Kyle Davis

Really excited about potentially landing Davis next week. This dude is a physical specimen and a bully at wideout. Imagine Da'Rick Rogers with a good head on his shoulders and that's what you will get with Davis.

PWilly/KDavis could be what we hoped Hunter/Rogers would be. One will be leaping over corner backs and the other with be dragging safeties 30 yards on a slant :)

I agree totally with this statement. The fact those 2 will be lined up on the field at the same time is crazy. You are right about the Da'Rick comparsion. This kid will be special for us

And IF we somehow can land Hardman to put in the slot with those two 😳. That kid could be the next De'Anthony Thomas if used correctly IMO. I'm not a scout but I think putting him on the defensive side of the ball like UGA is trying to do would be a waste of his skillset. I'm sure he could be a good CB but holy moly he is electric with the ball in his hands and would be hell to deal with in a spread option offense.

I agree with this too. IF we land him he needs to be the slot. I have heard he does not like the fact that UGA is trying to sell him to the defensive side and that we are selling him that he would be the premiere slot reciever. I don't know if that is enough to overcome the hometown team. We shall see but one thing is for sure CBJ and staff definitely put themselves right back to the top of the Hardeman sweepstakes with that win on Saturday

Gus Malzahn is a victim of poor QB play. Malzahn is a fantastic coach and should not get fired over one subpar year. Further evidence that points to the fact that with alot of these "elite" coaches, they are only as good as the athletic ability of their players. It takes coaching AND elite players to win big in the SEC.

I agree with that. Johnson being awful really killed Auburn's chances this year. Muschamp's defense has been underwhelming as well.

I got a nice laugh checking out the 247 sites for Auburn and Georgia to see their thoughts on Kyle Davis. Auburn's 247 mod thinks it is a AU/UT battle. Kipp Adams on UGa's says its 50/50 between Auburn and Georgia with Tennessee a ways behind. UGA sunshine pumper Rusty Mansell says the Bulldogs are out of the running. If KD goes anywhere besides Knoxville, he really trolled the heck out of our staff, players and a handful of our recruits.

It wouldn't be first time a kid trolled a staff and current team. My thoughts on Davis is the whole time you had UGA side saying UGA/TN, Auburn saying AU/TN, TN side saying any of the 3 are factors. The one constant among the handful of sources spilling anything and everything has been TN regardless of the source.

Yea I agree. The Georgia site makes it as if UT doesn't have a chance in HELL to land Davis. I really hope we didn't get trolled by Davis. But I always ride with my boy EasyTD. Lol

lol thanks man. Recruiting is never ever 100% certain but I do know Davis told multiple recruits and players that he wants to be a Vol. he and warrior were telling Hardman to get on the bus too. I hope he's not pulling anyone's leg but it would not be the first time a recruit has done that *cough* Gabr Wright *cough*

Hate to talk too much b/c of his record against us but I've always felt Mushamp as defensive genius was a little overrated. Most of his time at Texas was good but his last year there was turrible especially considering the talent at this disposable. Also, we all know who the real DC was when he coached for Saban, UGA absolutely lit him up every time he faced them during his first stint at Auburn, Quinn was his DC during his best years at Florida. He's not even been the best defensive coach on staff for much of his career.
