Its a 3 team battle according to him. I think its us and Auburn. Holyfield is #1 on our list. If we dont get him, then the best case scenario is he goes to Auburn and we grab our #2 quickly.

Any chance we cooled on Emmons in light of the above statement?

I was going to say his 40 time was rather slow until I compared it to the worst RB time.

Football Recruiting - Carlin Fils-Aime - Player Profiles - ESPN

40 times are overrated anyway. Look at the kid's tape, it's obvious he has football speed.

A kid can be much faster than his 40 yard dash time. Most high schoolers don't really know the correct way to run a 40 yard dash (it's all about the first 10 yards and how well you fire out of your stance). NFL prospects practice for months trying to get it just right.

Not sure where they are projecting guys to play but according to rivals Miami has 3 RB commits. Carlin would be 4.

Right now he says AU leads, his brother is actually going to Miami. But the Canes already have three RB commits, I'm glad he's giving us a shot. Says will visit UT then make a decision

He's on a summer tour... Auburn is the only other major school he'd ever visited other than Miami and that just happened. They told him they'll take two and they'd like him to be one of them, but if he doesn't commit in time, he won't have a space.

He also just visited UNC (after Auburn) and now he's headed our way... I think we have a good a shot as any as of now.

Not sure who told you that, but theyre wrong.

On 247, but I meant since he hasn't visited, and he was about to pick his college choice. He has Auburn as his favorite and he's so ready to decide. The coaches will have to really open his eyes to what Tennessee has to offer, if we were going to sway him our way.
