Isn't JUCO signing day Wednesday? Shouldn't Kongbo be signing tomorrow? Or does the ability to sign simply start tomorrow?

Hmm, that kind of goes against what UT said they want to do with Juco's at this point. They said that if they weren't an EE then they weren't that interested. I guess they have an exception in his case.

Unless they were a 3 to play 3 or 2... EE are only important for 2 for 2

That was the point I was making on the earlier post, not all JUCO's will be EE's,
They will be if they are a 2 to play 2, but if they have 3 years, they don't have to be. Some people believe all JUCO's will be EE's...

I think I read previously that Coach Jones doesn't usually let commits visit other schools. All signs point to Kongbo being such a beast that ordinary rules don't apply to him.

Most of the Dooley recruits left on this years team were either starters or saw significant playing time. The only exceptions were Blanc (injured?), Bullock (kicker) leaving early, Croom (injured), Marcus Jackson (injured), Maggitt (injured).

Vereen, Sutton, Josh Smith, Maybin, Kendrick, Kerbyson, Randolph, Lewis, McNeil and O'Brien all stated or played a lot. Not really any Dooley players left just standing on the sideline. Hard to argue that these players are less talented than the ones that left after last year.

UT gave an interview last week (someone from the AD) in which they said they were moving away from JUCO's that weren't early enrollees. Maybe the guy being interviewed misspoke.

I think you're referencing the Mathews interview with Bob Weldon. Anyway, I think the staff's philosophy with JUCOs is they must early enroll if they are two years to play two seasons guys or they must be three years to play two or more seasons. Kongbo is the perfect illustration: he redshirted at Wyoming and has played one season of JUCO ball, which will make him a sophomore eligibility wise when he makes it to campus (hopefully, in Knoxville). Justin Martin is also an example of a JUCO who did not early enroll but has three seasons of eligibility left for UT when he enrolled.
