'15 WI DT Kahlil McKenzie (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Superstars wanting attention is not exclusive to this generation. It's just broadcasted more easily.

No, Joe Namath never existed and Babe Ruth was never known to intentionally garner major publicity by alerting journalists and photographers of his whereabouts and antics.

Never happened. Not once.

I'm no where close to the gold standard. It kinda irritates me that the team first mentality is going away. It's a huge cause to why America is dying.

Lol so him committing 9 days earlier is going to make a difference? No.

Relax NSD isnt till February. If I was a recruit, I can promise u id be a me guy too, because sometimes ur all u have. Recruiting isnt always sunshine and rainbows. Ill worry about the team once I know where im going. Not every player knows right away where theyre going. I think its more mature to make sure thats where u want to go before u decommit later because then u dont have to go back on ur word.

Theyre doing something most of us will never get to. I see nothing wrong with them having their 15 mins in the spotlight.

How damn sweet If two of the before mentioned players would just be waiting for Mckenzie to pull the trigger to announce...

I think its stupid personally. It totally reminds me of how this is the me-me-me generation.

CBJ said in his presser that this was his dream job. After having the previous two coaches, and knowing their roots were clearly elsewhere, I was a little skeptical. But he really does this job like it is his dream job. Clearly has great support from his family as well. We're gonna see that guy pulling the best in the country to Knoxville for a long time.

I think when Cincinatti came here to play, he saw the fans, the facilities and decided this is where he wanted to be.

I believe I read that shortly after that game he told someone that this was his dream place to coach and he was going to get this job (or something similar).

I read that he told the players in their very first ever team meeting (the private part not on video) something to the effect that God spoke to him when Cincy came down to play and told him he would be the coach here one day. He's not loud about it or anything but I know him to be a deeply religious man and it doesn't surprise me at all for him to say that. Powerful stuff.
