'15 VA WDE Josh Sweat

Butch has a history of extraordinarily disciplined teams. I think we saw that last year as well. Kids are bought in, disciplined play, great effort, talent being recruited... we shall see how x's and o's and game management work out, but it is clear to me that Butch studies success, soaks in those processes, and learns to execute. And his work ethic is fabulous. As long as his work ethic and energy hold up, I think we will continue to get better.

Agreed. Good post.

UT was literally seconds away from beating UGA with their near 15 year HC and UT's coaching staff in it's 1st year with a roster full of kids the staff hardly knew at all. IMO it's looking good going forward.

JMO

It's the same talking points around here, UT should have won that game. Our team was a mess that game that was killed by injuries.

And the level of talent was still very close, with the injuries. I'm taking Murray to lead my team over Worley, along with everyone else in the world.

You don't have to admit it; doesn't make it any less true.

I agree on Murray, he won that game on his own. I don't understand it but it happened. I don't ever have a problem admitting anything.

And our team was a mess cause a former coach killed it. Shall we continue?

It's the same cycle. There was plenty of vol fans on here defending Dooley and blaming kiffen and fulmer, now the same people are killing Dooley. I understand that, it comes with being a fan.
The craziest thing I saw on here was when vol fans were going after Eric berry for getting on Dooley, and yes it happened, I still remember that.

I believe you. I hated Dooley the second he was announced as coach. Loved Kiffin until he left. Hated Butch until i wised up a researched him. Still never thought he would bring the energy he has. Fan is short for fanatic, and im sure the SEC Leads for those as well :)

Troof!

Is UT the only big in-state school from one of the top 7 high-school football states to never appear in a single BCS title game?

Wow! Had not thought about that. I can only remember them playing in one BCS bowl game, the Sugar Bowl game played in Atlanta and WVU smashed them and it was not even close.

I think they beat Hawaii one year in the Sugar Bowl. Maybe 2007 or so?

You mad brah? Maybe a little worried?

I'm sure you have better things to do than hang out here...

Actually, we won the very first BCS title against FSU in 1998... so try again. Lotsa teams won BCS titles afterward but we had the good fortune of being the winners of the very first one.

Hey just chimed in.. so is Josh Sweat a realistic get for us? Hes a monster player

These threads always go off on a tangent. Not sure about Sweat but will say if we land him our D-line is looking SEC title game worthy for several years. Would be the best we have had since Haynesworth, Henderson days.
