My Senior highlights! Loved every minute of this year with this team! #LeftALegacy 2014 Senior Highlights - Quinten Dormady highlights
Two things immediately jump out when watching his film.
1. He can definitely run it when needed.
2. He is going to have to learn to step up in the pocket and not throw off his back foot.
The upside with Dormady is huge. Prototypical size, arm and underrated athleticism.
Yeah. One of them is likely going to be the backup, unless Peterman snaps out of the mental funk he is in. I really do think he gets a little frazzled when playing in a game. No pressure in practice. Needs to see a Sports Psychologist, perhaps. If Dobbs goes down we may not win another game. We have 0 talent behind him.

Id expect both QBs to get the Dobbs treatment next season, i.e. redshirt unless needed.
Dormady has a few kinks to work out but the talent is obviously there. Especially when you consider he didnt play last year due to an injury to his throwing arm. Loads of potential.

As already posted Dormady and Jennings need to RS. Let's not give up on Nate as a good back-up to Dobbs. It takes some guys longer for the light bulb to come on and this offense can be complex and highly dependent on timing. There is still time for him to be good enough for that role.

Then one of the two guys coming in will probably be more advanced than the other for the 3rd team role in a worst case scenario like last year.
They will work on Quinten transferring his weight forward and not throwing off his back leg. Some of that is because of a lack of protection in the pocket. Bray was horrible about it as well and he improved. He has all the throws and mobility needed to do the job well.

I was saying the same thing about Dobbs and Peterman during fall camp. Peterman just looks like he is overwhelmed by the speed of the game and his mind just gets frazzled when he has to drop back to pass. Based on what Dobbs flaws appeared to be last year, and the way he looked in the KY game and Spring O/W game...it was just a matter of him, too, getting acclimated to the speed of SEC football. He's done really well adjusting, thus far.As already posted Dormady and Jennings need to RS. Let's not give up on Nate as a good back-up to Dobbs. I thought our doomed offense was gonna have to rely on a freshman? Funny how things changeAs already posted Dormady and Jennings need to RS. Let's not give up on Nate as a good back-up to Dobbs. I can't be the only one thinking this...
How is it that one of the excuses all season on the board for Dormady was bad WR's, but now suddenly, one of his WR's apparently is apparently one of the best in the state (statistically)?
No sleight intended, but I thought the consensus around here is that he was throwing to sacks of potatoes. :dunno:
