SKILL ASSESSMENT: Stidham is regarded as one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the class of 2015. Even though he spent his sophomore season as a wide receiver, he showed in camps throughout the summer he was an above average passer.

STATUS WITH VOLS: Stidham camped with Tennessee this summer and Vol offer came before he left campus. Stidham was impressed with the Vols and would like to see a game this season. Distance shouldn't be a problem as he's a Kentucky native and still has family living in the area.

OTHERS INVOLVED: Kentucky, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas Tech

After watching today's game it is pretty important we land a QB like Stidham in 15 if we want to get back on top. Huge priority for the 15 class

From his game last week...

In a game that featured 106 total points and 1,168 total yards, Stephenville junior quarterback Jarrett Stidham stood tallest as he led Stephenville (4-1) to a 64-42 win over Amarillo (2-3) at Tiger Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Stidham paced the Yellow Jackets attack throwing for 344 yards and four touchdowns, along with leading SHS on the ground with 132 yards and a touchdown

I really hope this is our guy for 2015, would be perfect in this offense. Would be nice if he made it up for a game this fall. Get him, Butch!

Stephenville's highlights for this season game by game, its kept up to date, Oct 11th's game not posted yet.

Stidham threw for 264 14-19 4 TDs and rushed 4 times for 85 yards and a TD....didn't play 4th Quarter.

First off, Bama already has Ricky Town committed. They are done at QB. Baylor already has their QB committed for 2015. It's us and Texas and I doubt Mack is there after this year. Please Butch... Pull this one off. You have me greedy lol
