that's the thing, the kids don't gad about CMU or Cincy. they care about what's going on at UT. So he kinda takes the flack for Dooley ball not producing like previous years at UT. We are no longer WRU or DbU because we lack proof to the new generation.

The point still stands that after this year we get the first crop of Butch's UT recruits hitting the NFL. I expect multiple high round picks.

If CBJ can't explain this to recruits and their families they are pitiful at overcoming objections. Surely the coaches are better than that.

I never commented before but lets discuss Pig Howard. Pig hated Azzani's coaching and never did it Azzani's way. Pig was out best Wr. Eventually this attitude became contagious and others like PW saw it and tried it. He called otherVFLs who initially got him to look into coming to UT. He wanted to lv too. Facts are fact Azzani has never churned out a Wr wortha damn at any school. I met Antonio Brown through Ramone Foster another VFL. He said he was not coached by Z who claims he was his coach. At Fla he produced nothing special and at Wiscky Jarred A was his best Wr. This shouldn't be acceptable at UT, we are losing guys who can be difference makers because of this because its easy to negative recruit against. I spoke with a 5* kid Saturday about UT. I said why not consider the best up and coming team in the NCAA? The kid said well another coach asked me this, how many guys have they put in the NFL vs us putting an avg of 6 in the top 3 rounds. See guys facts are facts. Tucking your head in the sand doesn't help anything, neither does a piss poor coach. Like I said before and will say again 2 need to go and 2 need to come in with a proven track record and not becase they are a friend but because they can coach and recruit. This is big boy ball and some gys from CMU and Cincy just ain't gonna cut it. I love CBJ and many others, but the weak links have to be purged. Just my $.02 though and I know all won't like it.

CBJ and staff are about to put several guys in the NFL after this season, just not at WR. If that is a current argument, it sucks that UT fans are still dealing with the results of, or lack thereof, Dooley. Is it just me, or does it sound like the 5 star you spoke to was Tee Higgins?

Is there any chance that 5 star wr changes his mind de1?? I agree on azzani being gone, who else do you not care for and who do you think they should replace them.with?

Fair enough. And I agree with what some others have said. The days of teams being able to negative recruit us with "NFL draft picks numbers" will be OVER after this year.

Thanks for the insight and you've some very valid points. A few people just want everyone shooting rainbows out their asses all the time instead of being realistic with what's going on.

Realistic isn't using nfl draft picks at this point. It's silly if you have any sense or pay attention to the real nfl prospect analytics.

Azzanni points are legit though. which is why I've wanted him gone for two years

Please link a recruit citing that as a reason. Until you have that, it's hearsay from an anonymous poster on the internet.

If Tee Higgins really said that, hes ignoring everything around him and is clueless about the industry. All news around him has been three draftable players skipping the draft negating that point immediately. That is reality.

Hearsay for you, doesn't matter to me whether you believe it or not. I can look at our class and put 2 and 2 together. What you think a recruit should think means nothing. That is reality.
