Harris may block better but Oliver is better at what we need and WAY more explosive.

Yeah that would make sense so we would have Wolf and Bransiel as those true TE block and catch guys and have Helm and Oliver as those hybrid pass catchers that are a matchup nightmare for linebackers.

IMO, he's from Tennessee. The SEC knew IF Butch wanted him, he would get him. Why bother?

Definitely agree with you on the liking the "old school" style better, but that's not what we need, therefore Oliver is a better fit.
