I've been saying that very thing, only way IMO UT lands him is if they offer a spot up to Hamilton, and I doubt that happens.
Ole miss is still an option don't let that fool you. Those list are meaningless.
The reason ole miss is less of an option is because Memphis is supposedly offering what his handlers want, and Memphis has been the plan the whole time.

How does join date or post count verify legitimacy? Other than verified media outlets/sources, recruiting is all just he said, she said, isn't it? Just something to think about.

I'm no insider into anything, but I work in Shelby County, and work for certain people that are directly related to recruits in the city. I work in a different sport, but communication is daily with coaches from all walks.
I am only here to offer what I've been told. Do I think it's accurate? yes. These guys know this situation.
Believing it, as I explained, is entirely up to the reader. Skal has an extremely dirty recruitment, similar to that of Will Barton. Memphis is and always has been an extremely dirty program. pastner is no longer in control at Memphis, the Memphis Brass is. Not many people in Memphis even deny this anymore. But yes I know he's such a "great guy".
Pastner was NOT in favor of hiring the Lawson's. He felt he was forced to make that hire and he is still not happy about it. When a coach has as terrible of a record getting his kids developed as he does, you will be taken hostage by handlers.
This is what's happening in Memphis right now.
Believe. Don't believe. It doesn't really matter.
I figured some of you would like to know.
And I am happy to be here to discuss SEC basketball. Hope we can have some conversations in the future.

Kentucky is used to getting whoever they want. Kentucky realizes they are probably gonna miss on this one who they want badly. Kentucky fan gets on message board and with very first post trashes the school who is favored to land the recruit they want. It's cool though, he lives an hour and a half outside the city. He knows things. Seems legit.
I have never been an advocate of spending time on recruiting big name players when you have no chance to get them. This one has seemed like a lost cause from day one. Anyone know why DT is spending so much time on this one? It appears illogical. Thoughts?
It may be that Tyndall doesn't have any better use for his recruiting time right now. With the exceptions of Labissiere, Chris Clarke and maybe Mario Kegler (who Jerry Meyer tweeted about today) all the other a list and b list guys they were recruiting are gone. The remainders are all JUCOs and stretch prep kids who either will be available in the Spring or whose equivalents will be around in the Spring.
They are covering Clarke heavily. So, with no other top targets available, Tyndall is probably thinking, "throw the bomb."
Guys I am from Memphis Tn and have great recourses into his camp. His handlers are as dirty as anything I've seen around Memphis in a long time. They want extra benefits/jobs and are using josh paster to get it.
Pastner is now being held hostage over city kids due to his go glaring inability to get top prospects successfully to the NBA and paid. Memphis basketball is now where blue chips go to die. This is why "handlers" in the city will not Succumb to the pressure that is Memphis without something in return. Pastner has lost a lot of cred especially with west Tn. People.
This kid will go to where his "posse" tell him to. Cal is still openly recruiting him as are others, but don't let that insinuate his recruitment is open. Here's how this lines up.
1. Memphis
2. Ole miss
3. Overseas.
If Memphis or Ole Miss offer what his handler wants, they will get him. If not, he's headed overseas. I've been told Memphis is prepared to do what they have to, and risk this. As Memphis always does in order to try and win basketball games.
I work in Shelby county with coaches close to this situation. Thought I'd share, as I usually have decent info as it pertains to the Shelby county area.
Love the board hope you guys are cool with me dropping by here and there. I'm a big UK guy (my dad and his family are from Kentucky)but was raised in Dyersburg so I know UT and it's fans well.
Congratulations on CDT.
